Amazing experience to visit the economic heart of Tanga + visit to Pangani - It was a great experience getting to know one of the main economic activities of Tanga, and of the history of Tanzania in general. The tour left on time and included a visit to Pangani, another historic location in coastal Tanzania near Tanga, for lunch by a beautiful beach. Greatly recommended!

An exciting day trip with many interesting insights into the Tanga region. - An exciting day trip with many interesting insights into the Tanga region. At the sisal plantation, I was told the history of cultivation and everything about the cultivation, care, harvesting and processing of the plant fiber was clearly explained. The city tour through Tanga was a highlight for anyone interested in history: in the museum, whose building dates back to the German colonial era, there are many pictures from the German and British colonial era, but also objects about the culture of the coastal inhabitants. We then visited other buildings, statues and cemeteries. An educational day!
