Tour guide services - 5 star rating - 5-star experience. Mr Abdul and Mr Badar were splendidly helpful and went out of their way to make our tour comfortable - very kids friendly. They knew well how to be helpful without pervading your privacy! I absolutely recommend to have your tour booked with these two gentlemen!

A great day! - We had a great time on this private tour. We were picked up at our hotel Enrique was our driver and Abdul was our tour guide for the first half of our tour. The second half of the tour (and the walking portion into the Medina) was with Badr. Both guides were fabulous not only sharing historic information about Tangier, but sharing personal stories of their culture and life in Tangier. We loved the tour and had a great day.

Whirlwind Tour of Tangier: A Perfect Family Adventure - Our recent layover in Tangier turned into a fantastic family adventure thanks to our friendly and energetic guide and driver! In just 4 short hours, we managed to pack in a camel ride (complete with endless photo opportunities!), a visit to Cap Spartel, a trip through the bustling medina, and even some shopping at unique Moroccan shops. With four adults and two young kids in tow, keeping everyone entertained can be a challenge. Our guides made it a breeze, their positive energy was contagious and they were fantastic with the kids. We all thoroughly enjoyed our time in Tangier and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this experience to anyone with a limited amount of time, especially families!

Our tour included many... - Our tour included many stops and the guide and driver were both very nice and kind. It was very difficult to find the guide/driver when we arrived in Tangier, but eventually we did locate each other and the rest of the day was very enjoyable, and tailored to our needs.

Memorable Experience in Tangiers - We had a whirlwind tour of the city of Tangiers via taxi including both the rich and the poorer areas of town. We were driven to Cap Spartel, Parc Perdicaris and Achakar, where we briefly rode camels. At the Caves of Hercules our guide tried to take us just to the grotto but we stood our ground and did get into the real cave. We went to Cafe Hafa but didn’t sit down and enjoy tea. We were shown several points of interest in the Old Medina: a mosque, a bar that Mick Jagger went to, beautiful tile work, murals, a community oven where people bring their homemade bread to be baked. We got to experience snake charming in the street and we were shown the Musee de la Kasbah, but did not go inside. We were taken to a rug shop and had an interesting experience haggling with the shopkeeper. Make sure you don’t pay the first or even the second price quoted. Bargain - or just walk away - don’t be afraid to do so. We then went to lunch (not included in the tour) at a nice restaurant. There were several groups in the restaurant. We were seated next to a mother/daughter duo from Florida and had fun exchanging experiences with them. The food was delicious! There was so much of it and it was all very tasty. They didn’t have a card reader when the time came to pay and we didn’t have any cash. So, one of the waiters took my husband to a family member's shop and paid there while I waited at the restaurant. Make sure that you get some of the local currency. Our guide was personable, but he rushed us through many things. I am glad that we speak Spanish, because his Spanish was easier to understand than his English. We ran into some issues, but they have been resolved. Overall we had a memorable experience in Tangiers.

Adequate but underwhelming - Experience met our sight seeing site expectations. however, it was not personalized. It felt 'canned' like everyone else's same experience. It was longer than necessary. Guide did his 'thing' without checking in with our group's interests or needs. It felt packaged. Much of the history was not shared. Everything he shared was positive about Morocco with no negative history. Tangier itself was a pleasant visit for an initial insight to the country. A different guide may have made the day more enjoyable. Farid gave the impression he was a 'know it all' with some facts accurate, however some facts not. One of our family members is a history major so was able to discount some facts.

Good but not great - The guides had good enough English and were very informative. We were wary of being ripped off and dodged the carpet seller but had a sit down lecture from the "pharmacist" wearing a white coat about Argan oil and related products. We politely declined to buy and purchased some in town from a beauty shop much cheaper 100% cold pressed oil in a beautiful bottle ideal for gifts. However the biggest disappointment and concern was Hercules cave as we were taken to the commercial rip off cave by our guide and not the one we all see on Google - so please ask to be taken to the correct one we came away confused and looked it up later. Both guides kept asking if we were happy and we basically were. Learn from our experience and make sure you get to see what you came for. The camel ride was definitely a highlight.

Choose another tour - Other than our guide I was completely disappointed in this trip, the camel ride was basically a circus camel ride around a parking lot. We did not get to explore the beach, we did not get full entrance to the Hercules Cave, but only the entrance to a smaller cave with peddlers. We did not get to enjoy or explore the cap spartel, the couple we ended up being on the tour with (not a private tour, this makes it a semi-private tour) had very limited walking capability, so he literally drove in and drove out, not allowing us to see anything including the local snake charmer which would have been entertaining. Lastly the tour of the market was not at all a tour of the market, but a deceptive attempt to have us purchase oils and carpets from what was obviously a set up. We were told by our guide once we were done shopping he would be called to come back and pick us up and take us back to the cruise ship, but once we said no to buying a carpet, we were told “bye bye, your tour is done” and we were left to find our own way back to the cruise ship.

Very disappointed - Very disappointed with this tour. 30 minutes late starting due to driver. Seven hours approximately was the time given. We completed the tour in less than 3 hours. We were rushed everywhere we went and not given much history or information about what we were seeing. Many of the places and experiences advertised were missed and not even a mention of them. Vehicle was clean and comfortable, only plus side of the day.
