Amazing Day - Rachid was an amazing guide! The day we had scheduled ended up being rainy. Rachid revised our day to accommodate our experience. We were able to see and do everything we wanted. Rachid was extremely knowledgeable and we could tell he really enjoyed taking us around throughout his city. Highly recommend!!!

Great day in Tangier with Rachid! - Rachid was our guide for a tour of Tangier that included both driving in the outskirts and walking in the old city and the medina. We were coming by train from Fes and he met us at the train station and got us situated with bag drop off at our hotel before heading out to get a sense of the city from driving above, seeing the coastline, the embassies and Perdicaris park. We then headed into the old city and the medina. Rachid was incredibly knowledgeable and also seemed to know everybody so we would stop at different food stops for just a taste of what was on offer. A few highlights were the visit to the Anglican church, the stop at the community baker/oven, and the lunch at a no name restaurant that was Rachid's choice for "real local cuisine". We were the only tourists there and had an amazing meal of multiple courses of salads, grilled chicken and fish and desserts. Yum! Didn't have to eat the rest of the day! Rachid would have kept going but we finally said goodbye at 6pm. Rachid met up with us the next day to facilitate our getting our ferry tickets and making sure we were all set with taking the ferry to Tarifa. Definitely recommend!

Amazing day trip to Tangier! - Rachid was an amazing tour guide! From meeting us at the ferry port, to returning us to the port, he and our driver, Ahmed, were kind and knowledgeable. Driving us through the city, walking through Perdicaris Park and Cap Spartel, riding camels and touring the historical Kasbah, Rachid made sure we enjoyed everything while giving us a history lesson as well! I would highly recommend visiting Tangier and experiencing this tour...the people of Tangier are warm and welcoming and Rachid and Ahmed are wonderful guides!

Highlights of Tangier tour - Through emails a week in advance, Ahmed organized and ordered ferry tickets from Tarifa for my wife and myself with no money down. We arrived Tangier by ferry at 10am and Ahmed met us at the dock with a Mercedes with his son as driver. We spent two hours driving through the new town and coastline, stopping at various points for views and stories. We we began the walking tour at the Kasbah and gradually went downhill into the Medina. We were not on a shopping trip and Ahmed focused the tour on the culture, economy, traditions and history of Tangier. After four hours, Ahmed let us wander on our own and we met an hour later for a walk back to the ferry. With limited time on a day trip, we skipped lunch and fasted as it was during Ramadan. Ahmed has been doing tours for four decades and he knows Tangier and all of Morocco. He provides a very informative tour and is a great storyteller. He seems to know everyone in town and is well liked. He does not push you to purchase and tailors the itinerary around what you want and the time you have. I recommend telling him before the tour what you are looking for, if you need lunch break or if you have issues with walking. We were very satisfied with how our time was spent and highly recommend him to others.

Secrets of the kasbah revealed with Mohcine - Our guide, Mohcine, was wonderfully informative. He took us to places we could not have found on our own even though we are experienced travelers not shy about venturing out on our own. He was knowledgeable about the history, architecture, societal composition , food and cultural traditions of the kasbah. We watched craftsmen at their trades, visited a synagogue, mosques deep within the kasbah, an herb merchant who recommended all sorts of remedies including something for my husband’s cough. We saw cobblers, weavers, spinners of silk thread, a neighborhood oven where people bring their dough daily for baking bread. We visited local markets where tourists don’t go and ended at a restaurant for couscous and mint tea. It was a lovely morning and Mohcine was considerate and upbeat. A most enjoyable tour and I highly recommend his services.

Best tour in Tangier - Rachid was an excellent guide. He’s from the city and is friendly with many of the locals. He speaks many languages as well. I don’t think we could even begin to have explored all we did without Rachid. He showed us spots that otherwise we probably would have missed. The history, the people, the culture all were weaves into the tour. Even our children were entertained. Rachid made sure they had fun as well. He encouraged the kids to try new things. Hands down, one of the best personal tours we have been given. We are so grateful. Thank you!

Excellent day tour of Tangier - Taoumi was an excellent guide and historian. He was responsive, helpful, professional and well-organized when setting up the tour, including booking ferry tickets. Everything went as planned, with beautiful site-seeing. We enjoyed our time and hope to return again to Morocco to take future tours with Ahmed! Book him if you have the chance!
