Tangier → Tetouan → Rif Mountains → Chefchaouen “Blue Pearl of Morocco” (2-hour drive)
Tangier - Begin the tour from the airport or hotel after breakfast. The first day is dedicated to exploring Tangier city. Enjoy a bus and walking sightseeing tour, visiting Cap Spartel, the Sultan’s impressive palace, the Necropolis, and the Hercules caves….

Tangier - Begin the tour from the airport or hotel after breakfast. The first day is dedicated to exploring Tangier city. Enjoy a bus and walking sightseeing tour, visiting Cap Spartel, the Sultan’s impressive palace, the Necropolis, and the Hercules caves. There will be free time to explore the MEDINA, with its vibrant colors and aromas, and perhaps pick up a souvenir.
Tetouan - Next, pass through Tetouan city, with its houses perched on the hills, and continue through the Rif Mountains, enjoying the lush greenery of the trees.
Chefchaouen - Later, head to the blue city, Chefchaouen. Nestled high in the Rif Mountains, it is renowned for its buildings painted in bright blue hues, making it one of the world’s most picturesque cities.
Upon arrival, check into your Riad and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure for personal exploration. Consider strolling through the ancient Medina with its winding alleyways, cobbled plazas, and unique doorways, or relax at a café and savor the passage of time. Alternatively, venture out of town for a hike in the surrounding hills to a former mosque for a stunning view over the Medina, nestled between two mountain peaks, and witness the sunset.
Chefchaouen → The Roman ruins of Volubilis → Meknes → Fes
Chefchaouen - After breakfast, take time to wander through the beautiful alleyways of the blue city, Chefchaouen.
Volubilis - Then, drive to visit the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis. This well-preserved site is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring beautiful mosaics, ancient pillars, and archways.
Meknes - After exploring the ruins, drive 30 km to visit Meknes, considered the Ismaili capital and one of the imperial cities. Visit Bab Al-Mansour, Sahrij Souani basin, the Royal stables, the granary, and the Moulay Ismail Mausoleum.
Fes - Then, proceed to Fes for an overnight stay in a Riad.

Fes - Spend the day exploring the highlights of Fes city with a local guide. Fes is one of the imperial cities and serves as the cultural and religious center of Morocco.
Royal Palace of Fez - Start the day by visiting the Royal Palace gate, followed by the well-preserved medieval Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Medina of Fez - Visit the Blue Gate or Bab Boujloud, the entrance to the old Medina, which is a labyrinth of alleyways and streets. Enter the Medina to see The Medrasa Bouanania, the Najjarine fountain, and the Tanneries.
Bab Bou Jeloud - Finally, visit the Quaraouin mosque and university, the oldest university in the world. Afterward, leave the Medina to visit the Jewish quarter, known as “the Mellah.” Then, drive to an ancient fortress for a panoramic view of the Medina and the city of Fes. Return to your Riad.
Fes → Ifrane → Cedars forest → Midelt → Ziz valley → Merzouga
Ifrane - After breakfast, drive south through Imouzzer to visit Ifrane, known for its low temperatures, snow, and alpine-style architecture. It’s often called the Switzerland of Morocco.
Cedar Forest - Continue to the cedar forest, home to the Barbary macaques. Feel free to feed them while exploring the forest.
Midelt - Proceed to Midelt for a lunch break. Then, drive to Merzouga through the Tizi-n-Tilghmt pass and along the Ziz valley, with stops for panoramic views.
Merzouga Desert - In the afternoon, arrive at the Sahara desert of Merzouga, switch to camels, and cross the sandy desert. Stop atop a high dune to enjoy the sunset, then continue to the camp, which combines traditional nomadic tents with hotel luxury. Enjoy Berber drum music and dance around the campfire under a vast starry sky. Dinner and overnight in the camp.
Merzouga Sahara → Rissani → Erfoud → Todra Gorges → Dades Valley
Erg Chebbi - Waking up early is essential to witness the beautiful sunrise in the desert. After breakfast, leave the desert to visit Rissani town, the ancient capital of Tafilalet. Rissani remains a major trading center with a lively souk three days a week.
Todgha Gorge - After exploring Rissani souk, continue to Erfoud to visit a fossilized marble workshop. Drive through Touroug and Tinjdad palm groves to reach the Todra Gorges, where the Todra river has carved a grand canyon through the mountains, creating high red cliff-sided canyons. These gorges are ideal for rock climbers. Enjoy wandering in the gorges and appreciating the landscape’s beauty. Free time for lunch at a restaurant.
Dades Gorges - Continue to the Dades Valley through Boumalne Dades, with stops at the “monkey fingers” rock formation and a viewpoint overlooking the Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a hotel.
Dades Valley → Ouarzazate → Ait Ben Haddou → High Atlas Mountains → Marrakech
Vallee Des Roses - After breakfast, continue the trip to Kalaa Magouna to visit the Rose Valley. A Rose Festival is held annually in May, where locals offer rose products, including perfumes, rose water, oil, and cosmetics.
Ouarzazate - Drive through the palm groves of Skoura to reach Ouarzazate, where you can visit the studios where famous movies were filmed.
Ait Ben Haddou - Depart to visit the famous Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The Kasbah has appeared in many movies, including Gladiator, Alexander, and The Mummy, as well as TV series like Game of Thrones.
Tizi n Tichka - Continue to Marrakech by driving through the Tizi-N-Tichka pass and the High Atlas Mountains, with stops for lunch and photo opportunities at interesting spots.
Marrakech - Finally, arrive in Marrakech. Transfer to the airport if you have a flight that day or drop off at your hotel in Marrakech.
