Amazing host and experience. - Bilal was a fantastic host, he agreed to do the class for me alone and finding a time that works for both of us instead of cancelling on me which I am grateful for. The cooking class starts with going into the market and some other shops. You then go to his house and start cooking the food. Lastly you eat the food! Highly recommend doing this cooking class if you are in Tangier!

Delicious meal with stellar guide! - Highly recommend this experience for anyone visiting the city! Bilal was very kind, welcoming, and had a wealth of knowledge about the city. We cooked tagine with his beautiful family and had plenty of time to sit down and enjoy our meal in his lovely home.

Left Tangier feeling like we became family - Bilal was such a warm and friendly gentleman. He toured us around Tangier markets & shops before we were invited into his home where he and his wife Sanae taught us how to make and prepare a traditional Moroccan meal. Which was absolutely a blast and turned delicious. We talked & laughed until our sides hurt. My cheeks were sore from smiling for days. We felt absolutely comfortable and relaxed- they made sure of it. We left feeling like family and have since kept in touch. He and his wife reaching out making sure we’ve made it to our next destination safely and finally home. I was traveling with my best friends of 30 yrs & as 2 single women travels I felt so safe, cared for and respected by him and his wife. I wholeheartedly recommend Bilal for ANY and all guide needs.

10/10 food and cultural exchange - Bilal and his wife were extremely welcoming and kind to my group. We had so much fun participating in cultural exchange and the food we made was delicious! The experience was a perfect combination of everything and we felt very safe. Bilal was so kind even after our time with him, offering his knowledge and even bought tea for me from a local store and met up with me again to give it to me. I would recommend this to anyone looking for not only amazing food but great people too.

Amazing authentic Moroccan cooking experience - Had a wonderful afternoon hosted by Bilal and his wonderful family. This is truly an authentic way to prepare Moroccan cuisine with local residents in Tangier. Bilal started our day with a walk of the Kasbah and souks to pick up our ingredients for our meal and then made our way to his home where we were introduced to his wife and children. From there we learned how to prepare a traditional chicken tagine, mint tea, Moroccan salad, and bread. Throughout the whole process we learned about food preparing and traditions in Morocco. Once everything was done we got to enjoy our prepared meal, along with some special treats from the family. This was an amazing experience and could to have asked for a better way to spend our afternoon. It was more than we anticipated and highly recommend this tour to anyone travelling to Tangier.

Best cooking class in Tangiers - Bilal and his family made me feel so comfortable and he taught me a lot about Moroccan culture and how different areas were formed. Although it was Ramadan, I still felt very welcome and ate with Bilal's youngest daughter. Everything was provided to make the experience much more enjoyable and the food was deliscious. I would certainly recommend this experience to anybody looking to learn about Moroccan culture and good food. It works for families too. Also Bilal was very helpful about other requests that one might have, such as taxis and other visits. I would certainly do this again on a return to Tangier.

Best meal ever! - Bilal and his family were incredible hosts and we had the most pleasant day learning how to cook Moroccan cuisine and seeing what a home is like for a normal family in Tangier. Highlight of our visit for sure and the food was obviously delicious. We made enough for an army!

Lovely family, great food! - My brother and I made a special request to learn how to make Tajin Kefta, Chicken Pastilla, Soupe Harira, and msemn (aaghif?). Bilal and Sanaa were gracious and patient teachers, and we really enjoyed their daughters. The class was completely hands on and the resulting dishes were fantastic. It was the best pastilla I've had so far. They're a lovely couple who work well together and seemed too have fun, as we did. Their daughters joined us for the meal and we had a fun and interesting conversation. They patiently answered our questions about Moroccan culture. It was our last day in Morocco and Bilal even arranged cabs for us for the next day. My brother and I feel comfortable making these dishes for family when we get home. Great people, lovely home, wonderful food - I highly recommend.
