This was a wonderful experience! My... -
This was a wonderful experience! My husband and I scheduled to have our cooking class Friday morning, our first full day in Morroco, however due to flight delays we didn't arrive until Friday afternoon into Tangier. Thankfully, the Blue Door Cooking School was able to accommodate the two of us to have our cooking class on Saturday morning. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Blue Door Cooking School, Tim, who introduced us to our teacher, Miriam, and her cooking assistant. Miriam was fantastic with her friendly and upbeat attitude and guidance. The kitchen was large, beautiful and very clean. My husband and I also loved that we were shown the community/neighbourhood oven where our bread we made was to be baked and then Miriam showed us her favorite places to shop for traditional spices and good quality souvenirs. We learned how to make traditional mint tea, roll coucous and put together a colourful and tasty lunch in a tagine and baked bread in which we all enjoyed. Thanks so much for this experience!
