Situated on the Karst, the Stanjel castle is just under an hour’s drive away. We will witness and capture the scenic beauty of the Renaissance Baroque castle and its lush Ferrari garden. The guide will weave the tale of how Enrico Ferrari, a doctor from Triest, fell head over heels for this location and initiated the restoration work alongside renowned architect Max Fabiani, during the period 1924 to 1942.

After short 20 minutes of drive, we will indulge in the flavors of locally-produced Karst wines and air-dried prosciutto in a traditional wine cellar. Post this, we will make our way to the Rodik village to savor an authentic Slovenian gourmet lunch - a lavish spread of 6 courses, beverages inclusive.
