One of kind experience - Wonderful experience ! We had a private safari and everything went so smooth. The driver is very experienced, the lodges are top notch and safe. We also got to see all the animals ( big 5 ✅ ). I really recommend Crater explorer.

Everything is worth! The Chinese don't lie to the Chinese - Very satisfied, this is my first time in Tanzania, in order to safari, actually very nervous, afraid of encountering unreliable companies, unreliable guides, afraid of being cheated, but really not at all worried, ground Ema is very good, also responsible, my friends and I are not very good in English, communication basically depends on words and translation software, but he is patient, constantly telling us the itinerary, every step, the hotel booked is also great and safe. The guide at the beginning of the trip is the driver. With more than twenty years of experience, he stops to explain to us when he sees animals on the road. I don't know what magical eyes he has. He always finds animals, and many times I even use look glasses to see them. Except for the leotard, I saw all five of them, excited! Not only that, but the guide will set up lunch, pack it after eating it, reconfirm your itinerary for the day before you leave each day, and reconfirm your next meeting time when you send it to the hotel in the evening, without any worries. The second night's stay is great, is staying in a wildlife sanctuary, hotel staff will introduce you to breakfast, dinner time, there is no anonymity, because it is in the nature area, for security will be led by staff to your room, is a tent, into the room will introduce the room, hot water, drinking water, etc., each room has a walkie-talkie, any need to tell staff, one hotel even prepared hot water bags, very sweet. Recommended for all who want to come to Tanzania to see animals choose them, it's worth it!

Amazing safari! Highly recommend! - I enjoyed the 3 day Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater safari - mid range lodge option - in January 2025. My experience with Crater Explorer Tours and Safaris was absolutely immaculate from start to finish! I’d like to extend a massive thank you to Emanuel for organising this trip for me! Emanuel was professional and responsive at all times and organised everything that I asked for. The inclusion of airport transfers and hotel stay before and after the trip was greatly appreciated and very helpful! The tour itself was incredible! Amazing sightings, guide, and wonderful food and accommodation. I even received a wonderful upgrade to my accommodation on my final night in the crater as the original one that was quoted to me was booked! I am so grateful for this tour and the amazing company that Crater Explorer Tours and Safaris is. I highly recommend them if you are planning a trip to Tanzania!

Great experience - Serengeti and Ngorongora Crater have been on my bucket list for a while and I'm glad I went with Crater Explorers. They handled everything from the airport transfers, to the hotel accommodation before and after the safari, and the safari itself.

Nice Safari tour - We are Korean tourist and it was our first trip to Tanzania. Tour guide came to our hotel to explain our schedule a day before safari. During tour we've seen a lot of animals and nice views. Also they offer really nice foods and expert explanation of animals. I really recommend.

One of the best experiences of my life - The safari was amazing, we saw a lot of animals and from very close up. The camp was great, the food excellent.

2 nights and 3 days Serengeti/Ngorogoro Safari - The safari was amazing, it was 3 days of having seen the most amazing animals that are only seen in documentaries. The experience was excellent, the camps, the tents and sleeping bags all spotless and the chef Emanuel's meals exquisite. At night you hear the animals, it is an experience to repeat. Thanks to our guide Charles, a genius.

Amazing Safari! I recommend Crater Explorer with my eyes closed! - We did 4 days of Safari, we started with Tarangire, next Seregenti and finally Ngongoro. It was amazing, my friend and I would have unforgettable memories of this trip! Emanuel who planned the safari was really kind and attentive, as John, our guide during the safari. We had the chance to see the big five! John is a fabulous guide, he always took the time to explain everything. we spent a really good time with him and the chef cook Emanuel (he cooked everyday for us very very good meals). I recommend Crater Explorer and I hope I will do an other safari with them! Thanks again to Emanuel, John and Emanuel (the cook)!

3 day safary in family - We did 3 day safary in family of four. Emanuel was always in contact any doubt or need was solved. Reliable company, all safary, the car, the driver and the lodge Suricata Boma was perfect. The lodge location is really good and amazing in front of Mayara lake. The driver Charles was very kind and give good explanations about wild life... EXCELLENT!!

10/10 - We visited three different national parks: Ngorogoro, Lake Manyara and Tarangire. We enjoyed a lot as we felt very accompanied by the guide and the organizers. They ensured hospitality and disponibility along all three days. We stayed at Suricata Boma Lodge: an undescriptible experience. Lovely views in front of Lake Manyara. 100% recommendable
