You will have a short break on the way for breakfast. On arrival in Mikumi National Park you will start with game drive and after few hours you will have break for lunch. After lunch you will proceed with game drive up to 15:00pm, and then drive back to Dar es Salaam. On arrival in Dar es Salaam you will be dropped to the hotel or airport for your late flight back home.
Mikumi National Park was established in1964 covering an area of 1070 square kilometers; it was later extended in 1975 to cover the current area of 3,230 square kilometers. Mikumi National Park is located to the North of the famous Selous Game Reserve. The park is the fifth largest National Park in Tanzania and the most accessible from Dar es Salaam throughout the year. Mikumi hosts buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, lions, pythons, zebras, leopards, crocodiles and many more.

Great for a One Day Safari - Be forewarned, the drive is very long! But if you only have a day in Dar, hard to imagine a better experience. Saw nearly every type of wildlife you could imagine, from Elephants to giraffes to baboons and hippos! Stopped for food twice and the drive itself was very interesting! My driver was incredibly friendly and attentive. Would recommend a longer safari if possible, but the best you can do for one day!

Amazing experience - It was my firsr time Safari in Africa and it went very well i have enjoyed the journey and the park itself where a lot of wild animals were there for me first time to meet them that close ... the tour guide Mike was extremely welcoming and knowledgable as well very friendly ... amazin overall experience

Wonderful tour - Amazing experience! Thanks to Yunus, everything was taken care of very well. He was very friendly, responsive and knowledgeable. I had only one day but he did really a great job and I was able to see many wonderful animals and places, thanks a lot for the wonderful tour!

Excellent tour and service - We have recently done this safari and it really was an outstanding experience.
We were unlucky at first because two times the tour was cancelled due to unfavourable weather conditions but in the end we made it, thanks also to the extraordinary flexibility and friendliness of the operator. Despite the weather and the ongoing rainy season, we managed to see most of the animals incl. several lions and a leopard.
The communication with African Pangolin Safaris was very friendly and open. Due to two cancellations, the communication was very intense and at all times the operator was responsive, reliable and forthcoming. I can really fully confirm that we were provided an outstanding service.
We chose African Pangolin Safaris in the first place for its good reviews and their rates which were competitive compared to other offerings.
The service was top-notch and can only recommend them!

An unforgettable experience - Nixon was a very good guide! He was able to answer all of our questions and we were able to see all of the possible animals. He even spotted a leopard, even though it was hiding in a tree hundreds of meters away. He wanted to make the day unforgettable for us and he definitely succeeded.

Great day, the car ride... - Great day, the car ride is long, so just be sure the car has A/C bc the truck exhaust in the drive is brutal

olapexpeditions - I had an amazing trip with olap expeditions who are in Tanzania we had a challenge and how they brought fun into it was amazing I recommend them for a safari trip. just find them on instagram and come thank me later.

Yunus - amazing safari guide - This was our second time on an African safari. Yunus, our guide/driver was excellent. He was punctual, extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient and an excellent driver. Yunus made sure we were able to see all the animals on our wish list.
It was an exhilarating day for us, one we will remember forever.
I highly recommend this tour and especially Yunus as the safari guide.

Once in a lifetime! - Where do I start! I was a little bit skeptical to book online as the guy in my resort selling safaris told me it was a scam, and it couldn’t possible be under $1000. I trusted my instinct and continued with it, and I haven’t looked back. From the very beginning the customer service was incredible, and we were booked in with ease. Everything ran so smoothly, we were collected on time from our hotel, and it was clearly run well at the airport too… when we arrived in Mikumi, each driver was waiting for us to arrive with our names on pieces of paper and we were soon off. I found it amazing that each safari guide asked us our favourite animals and from that endeavoured to make sure we saw them! The lunch was amazing and we saw every animal we possibly could, with amazing views!!! I feel so fortunate to have experienced this, and will be recommending this company to everyone who is looking to do a safari in Tanzania.

My first safari in Africa - This has been my first safari in an african national park and it was wonderfully exciting. Thanks to MAnsoor and African Pangolin Safaris for the perfect organisation and my special thanks to my great driver and tour guide Kapande Hassan for the outstanding companionship during the whole day including plenty of highly valuable background information.
