• Tarangire National Park - With an early pick from your Arusha hotel at 07.00, our two-hour drive will take us the 120km to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s real treasures. You spend as much time as possible at the park, marveling at all its wonderful wildlife with the assistance and expert knowledge of your driver-guide. Tarangire National Park is primarily famous for the abundance of age-old baobabs and big families of elephants gathering in the vicinity of the main water source – the Tarangire River. Besides baby elephants and their parents the Tarangire is home to zebras, giraffes, hyenas, wart-hogs, buffaloes and many other predators and ungulates. Tarangire, often referred to as ‘The Elephant Playground,’ serves as an impressive spot for a remarkable day visit.
