Day 1: Arusha
Tarangire National Park - Depart from your Arusha accommodation at 08:30 hrs and head towards Tarangire National Park. Upon arrival, embark on a wildlife viewing adventure until the late afternoon. Enjoy a packed lunch at a designated rest area within the park. The park is named for the Tarangire River that meanders through the park, providing a reliable source of water for the diverse array of wildlife that inhabits the area. In the evening, travel to Mto wa mbu for dinner and an overnight stay at Jambo Campsite.
Day 2: Ngorongoro crater
Ngorongoro Crater - After an early morning meal, depart for the Ngorongoro Crater for a morning safari within the crater. The crater is home to a dense population of lions, around 20 black rhinos, and the Lerai Forest, which is an excellent location for leopard sightings. Recognized as one of the world’s natural wonders, the crater offers a unique safari experience. After a picnic lunch, exit the crater and return to Jambo campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3: Lake Manyara
Lake Manyara - Following breakfast, proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for a morning game drive. The park is renowned for its arboreal lions and the vast flocks of flamingos along the lake’s edge. Observing large elephant herds is also a common sight. After a picnic lunch, head back to Arusha in the late afternoon for an overnight stay at the Arusha tourist centre inn.
