A professional experience that made our Tanzania Safaris easy and smooth - Overall, a very well organized professional experience. Matt, the owner, was incredibly flexible and accommodating when planning the trip. He was very communicative and responsive and helped make this trip stress free. Some notable points - we ended up booking directly with Matt outside of trip advisor, as it enabled a more customized experienced. We stayed in lodges during our safari, but Matt also booked hotels before and after the safari, including rides, to enable easy stays and transfer from Kilimanjaro airport. Pros: Mvuli Lodge was incredible. Beautiful views, highly caring staff, and brand new accommodations. Food and service were both great. Ngorongoro is absolutely worth the trip. Breathtaking in all respects and wildlife everywhere. Cons: Jua Manyara lodge was pretty much a hostel with a private bathroom. Acceptable given the short planning timeline and busy season, but, if at all possible stay at Mvuli Lodge both nights. Minor, but there was some confusion among drivers as we were passed off to several different drivers and guides over the course of three days. It wasn't really a problem, but it did result in some downtime. Recommendations/Expectations: Stay at Mvuli Lodge for as much time as possible. The parks are a couple hours from Arusha, if you stay in town before or after the trip. So when figuring out flights, factor that in. Bring cash. USD or shillings are generally acceptable, but most places don't take card. Plan for some tips, waters, and coffee purchases. We stayed in Mvuli Hotel in Arusha for our bookend stays. It was definitely acceptable, but nothing is reasonably nearby, so expect to just eat at the hotel restaurant and hang in your room. Personally, I would say that Ngorongoro is a must. Lake Manyara and Tarangire were both amazing in their own rights, but I could have went with one and not the other. Instead, if you can get Serengeti into the itinerary, do that. We didn't go, but we came across other travelers that did, and their pictures were incredible.

Competitively priced 3-day safari - Listening, attentive team. They printed us a couple photo on a tire cover for our honeymoon. Very competitive prices with quality service.

Good safari - From the first conversation with Matt for the trip planning to the last animal sighting with our guide Gerson, Rupia Adventure made this trip, "The Trip of a Lifetime". The game drives, Bush camps, Lodges, cultural tours and knowledge of the animals and the land, nothing could have been better. Food was great, service in all of the camps was wonderful. I would recommend Rupia Adventure to anyone who is looking for a Safari experience that will be talked about for years to come.

3 days of adventure - successful! - Rupia Adventures (Matt/Mathias the owner) really put together an amazing trip for us (and quickly!). We planned this about 4 days in advance and the experience was amazing. Ngorongoro, followed by Lake Manyara, then Tarangire. He arranged an amazing glamping experience for us at Nyikani (was a deal!) and a final hot air balloon ride with Miracle -- which was so well run. Loved our driver/guide Enock who was with us for the whole 3 days. Loved these people. Very impressed!

Excellent safari - Incredible experience. Highly recommended. They fulfilled everything promised and everything was very well organized. They offered me the same thing for double the money at other agencies. 100% recommendable.

Great safari! - An excellent safari experience: our guide, Maliaki, was superb. He was a great host, incredibly knowledgeable about the environment, dealt with a rather difficult fellow traveller with great skill and diplomacy and maintained a steady pace to the trip.

Safaris very good but accommodation conditions poor - The safari itself is well organized with the 3 parks quite different which avoids monotony, our guide is very friendly and speaks French. Some downsides however: - payment conditions: Matt would like to deal directly (without going through Tripadvisor to avoid the commission). It was very urgent, unpleasant limit on our WhatsApp exchanges to obtain his deposit, deposit difficult to transmit due to the fact that Rupia does not have a bank account accepting WU transfers - accommodation => We had agreed with Matt that we had to go to the Sunbright campsite. Finally, without warning and without apologizing, we found ourselves in a very low-end tent camp with shared toilets. After calling Matt, we were moved to a solid hotel but where the electricity and hot water were very uncertain.

Tour operator with unreliable equipment and trust issues - Having booked a family safari trip, we were provided with a malfunctioning vehicle. Indeed, the first thing we did after being picked up at the hotel in Arusha was to go to the mechanic to fix the gear....a full morning lost...shameful and not professional at all to be greeted with a non-conforming car... Afterwards, when accessing Manyara Park, we were informed that the entrance was blocked due to severe rain. This is understandable. What is not acceptable is that Rupia kept the USD300 of the ticket entrance and, until today, did not return the money....shameful and again not professional... I definitely not recommend Rupia and, in particular, found that Matt did not honour his word. Bad omens for a tourism business...
