ARUSHA TO SERENGETI NATIONAL PARK

Serengeti National Park - Following breakfast at the lodge, the journey proceeds to Serengeti, Tanzania’s oldest and most renowned national park, also recognized as a world heritage site. The Serengeti is celebrated for its annual migration, where approximately six million hooves thunder across the open plains, as over 200,000 zebras and 300,000 Thomson’s gazelles accompany the wildebeest in search of fresh grazing. Even when the migration is not active, the Serengeti provides exceptional wildlife viewing in Africa: large herds of buffalo, smaller groups of elephants and giraffes, and thousands of elands, topis, kongonis, impalas, and Grant’s gazelles. Overnight stay at Nyani Campsite.

SERENGETI TO NGORONGORO

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - An early morning game drive in the Seronera Valley is planned. Besides the large mammals, the Serengeti is home to colorful agama lizards and rock hyraxes that scurry around the park’s isolated granite koppies. A wide variety of dung beetles can be found, and around 500 bird species have been recorded, ranging from the large ostrich and unique secretary bird of the open grassland to the black eagles soaring effortlessly above the hills. Later, return for breakfast and then depart to Ngorongoro for an overnight stay at Simba Camp.

NGORONGORO - ARUSHA

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After breakfast, an early morning game drive to Ngorongoro inside the Crater is scheduled. The Ngorongoro Conservation Area (NCA) is a vast highland region along the eastern arm of the Rift Valley, with the famous Ngorongoro Crater as its centerpiece. Ngorongoro was established to preserve wildlife and other natural resources, protect the interests of indigenous people, and promote tourism. Arrive at the camp around midday to dismantle the camp and later drive to Arusha city, where the safari concludes.
