Nice Trip - The safari was amazing. We had a great guide, Yunus, who was very dedicated to showing and explaining everything to us. He was very respectful towards the animals and always respected their space. The drive was very pleasant. We can highly recommend Pangolin Safari and would book with them again anytime. The option to be picked up and dropped off directly at our place of stay was very convenient for us.

Safari at the top - Organization on top.
Akonina was really an exceptional guide, he knows where to see even rare animals.
Always listening and very respectful of the wildlife and the flower even the rules of the road 😂.
He gave us a lot of information about animals, their lives, customs and the lives of Tanzanians.
He gave us a cake and a bottle of wine for our wedding anniversary which touched us.

An amazing safari experience from start to finish. Would highly recommend African Pangolin Safaris. - Had read reviews for African Pangolin Safaris online and messaged asking for more details. Really impressed by all the information I received from Mansoor. Any enquiry was quickly answered and booking was simple with a small deposit to pay. Mansoor was so helpful and gave suggestions on where to stay prior to going on safari, afterwards, ferry company to use for Zanzibar etc. Nothing was too much trouble.
Once in Dar Es Salaam, we were picked up early at agreed time by our friendly guide Mike. We then drove the 6-7 hour journey to Mikumi National Park stopping off for toilet and refreshments when required, and also for lunch. Mike was friendly and chatty and gave lots of information and was a careful driver. Mike was our guide for the full 3 day, 2 night safari and we can't recommend him enough. He showed us so many animals and as it was a private safari for the 3 of us he stopped for as long or as little as we wanted. We learnt so much and saw so many amazing animals and felt safe at all times. We stayed in a cottage inside the National park which was great to get the full experience and meant we could start our game drive early which was a great time for seeing the animals out and about.
Would 100% recommend African Pangolin Safaris for great service, friendly people, value for money and an experience we'll never forget!

Amazing experience - Wonderful experience. Our tour guide Mansoor was such a professional and kind operator. He wanted us to see as much animals as possibile and we really appreciated it. He told us a lot of thing about the savana, so interesting. He is very preparated and he seems loving his work so much. He helped us with everything we needed. The price was right in our opinion. We suggest you to chose African pangolin safari, it is really worth it!!

An unforgettable experience ! - A truly incredible experience! We booked a 3-day safari with accommodation inside the park. Our guide Yunes was very professional, took us out on the outings later than the majority of groups, which meant that we had peace of mind in the park. We were able to enjoy the animals to the fullest. We recommend without hesitation!

Great Experience! - I highly appreciate how the owner and the driver showed their professional respect to us. We booked this trip last minute and the owner was very flexible and did everything to ensure we get the reservation the way we wanted. He was quick in responding to my inquiries within few hours. Provided us with detailed itinerary. Our driver was the best, kind, professional and very respectful. He constantly said he was there for us and he will follow our schedule. He was very knowledgeable and made every effort to make sure we see all animals. I will highly recommend this company and thank you for making our trip a memorable experience.

Dreaming Safari - we had booked a 3 day safari and were picked up from our hostel on time. Our guide Yunus introduced himself, we spent the next 3 days with him, he drove us to the national park and did the game drive with us. after a long drive we arrived at our bungalow accommodation in the middle of the national park. first we were greeted by the monkeys and two warthogs, which stood right in the garden and ran around freely. During the night a ranger was on site for our safety. We can wholeheartedly recommend African pangolin safari. we were two girls and felt comfortable the entire time. we were completely alone with the game drives and were able to direct all our wishes to Yunus, who really was a top-class guide. he had a lot of knowledge about the animals, was very nice and has a lot of know-how. so we were able to spot a few animals completely alone, such as a large family of lions. and most importantly it was all very ethical, the engines were turned off for the animals so as not to disturb them and they were not harassed. Big thanks to Yunus and african pangolin safaris for making our dream come true to see the big 5 and much more (also a 🐆). we would always come back.

Mikumi Trip with Yunus - We have a great time at Mikumi NP. Our guide Yunus was the best. We saw many animals. Yunus had the ability to find the animals from 400m away. It was a great time.

excellent 3-day safari from African Pangolin - We took the 3-day 2-night Mikumi/Udzungwa tour from African Pangolin. We were originally booked for this tour in May 2020, but all travel fell apart with the coronavirus, and we had to cancel. Mansoor from Pangolin was great with communication leading up to our 2020 ticket, and then also when the trip got cancelled. We stayed in touch, and when 2023 gave the green light for the tour, we booked again with Pangolin and were very glad to finally be able to make the safari. Mansoor is professional, prompt, and personal in setting up the experience. Highest recommendation.
Our driver/guide for the safari and trekking adventure was Zakaria. He speaks English very well, is a great driver, and has very deep knowledge of biology, particularly of the large animals, birds, and plants. Zakaria is a personable guy who made for great company for three days. The Land Cruiser we rode in is a very tough vehicle that could handle all the road conditions. Everything was very safe.
The safari itself was a fantastic experience. It was the late stage of the rainy season, but we were fortunate that we didn't have rain. The park was almost empty of people, and just full of the big animals. They were everywhere; very little time passed between encounters. I suppose we were quite lucky, but the adventure was everything we could expect and more. Many, many giraffes and zebras, sometimes together. Impala, eland, water buffalo, warthogs, baboons, wildebeest, jackals, crocodile, monkeys, hippopotamus, many birds. Two lions together, right next to our vehicle, that we observed for a long time. Close-range elephants. Amazing looks from the Land Cruiser, with plenty of time for observation.
The hike up to the falls in Udzungwa NP the next day was very nice, if a little challenging on the way up. It's a long drive to and from the parks, so we had a chance to see a lot of village life in rural Tanzania that one does not see in Dar es Salaam or Zanzibar City. The mid-range accommodations were quite comfortable, and the meals were very good. Safaris are quite expensive, but this 3-day expedition was good value for the money. Great driver/guide, great service, reliable company.
