Mount Meru Treks in Tanzania - We did a four-day trek with Kiliholidays and had a fantastic experience. We are grateful to our guide, Gabriel, for exceeding our expectations, and to Mack for providing us with some of the equipment we needed. Our cook, Lava, prepared delicious meals, including vegetarian options to accommodate our special requests. The trek was a lot of fun, and the sunrise views of Kilimanjaro were absolutely stunning. I highly recommend Kiliholidays as a local operator for their excellent arrangements.

Great - Our trek to Mount Meru was great, our guide Frank was nice and helpful and the cook Cassian was really good, we ate better than we could ever expect on a mountain. The whole team (with porters) was very nice and overall the experience was great. Side note: We booked four days because we were not sure we could have descended the whole mountain the same day after reaching the peak at dawn, but then managed to do everything in three days. We could not have a refund from Kiliholidays (which however paid all staff for the four days, as we hoped, so we are fine with it), nor for the government taxes like park fees (as we would expect). If we knew we could have booked for three days and extended (in case of necessity) we would have done it. My suggestion: if you think you cannot make it in three days, try it, you will have always time to pay the extra day!

Fantastic experience with 4* service - Went for the Mount meru expedition with Kiliholidays. The best choice we could have made. Great guides who actually monitor your (health)situation carefully and do everything possible to help enhance your chances to make it to the summit. As comfortably as possible. And so we did. What a fantastic experience. Even breaking my leg after a mis step on the way back hasn't spoiled the memory. Selma en Ngomi made sure I got down safely and took great care of everything in hospital etc. If you consider climbing the Meru, do it with Kiliholidays and you will have the best chance of actually getting there and enjoying the trip to the full!

Amazing Trek - I guess the best multi-day mountain trip I ever did. Challenging, especially the peak-day(night) but not too hard. I would do it again any time. Incredible nature, rain forest and volcano terrain. The view down on Tanzania and on Kilimanjaro leaves one speechless. Thank you Kili Holidays

Steep but beautiful trek! - The primary day was astonishing as you stroll through thick backwoods. You pass astounding landscape like the stunning novel fig tree of two trees associating. The climb is around 16km. the cottages are astounding with warmth, great latrine offices and astonishing food. On the second day you start at 8 and reach by 12 as its a 6-6.5km climb up. On that very day you eat at 1 and rest till 2-2:30 prior to scaling to little meru which lies at 3800m. It is a 1.5 hour climb full circle. At the point when you return you have around 9-10 hours of rest prior to endeavoring to culmination at 2 am toward the beginning of the day. You take around 5-6 hours to get to the top and appreciate staggering perspectives on kilimanjaro. All these are performed by Kiliholidays tours and safaris

Wonderful - After making the decision to climb Mt. Meru, I was searching the www for tour offers. I only found 3 or 4 day tours. Yes, park regulations require at least the 3 days, but after you have paid for 3 days you are free to climb this beautiful mountain in 2 days (Momella-Saddle hut (overnight) - Summit-Momella). No agency, even the most reputated were able to offer me a 2 day climb tour, even if I would pay for 3 days. The "Dom" in Switzerland, highest mountain completely in Switzerland and only a few meters lower than Mount Meru is a typical two days technical climb. So 3 days for Mount Meru is not required, if you are fit. Finally I gave up, but by chance I found Kiliholidays Tours and safaris on Google. Contact was quick and easy. A two day tour was arranged. I was skeptical. But finally It worked out fine: Me, the guide (Dow), who was a pleasant person, a tough climber and a great climbing companion and the obligatory ranger were on the way (no cook or porter were required; Special tip for the ranger). Great - non technical - climb; we had rain, sun, wind, cold and heat (on the lower slopes). Challenge the elements and be prepared for everything. Thanks to Kilihodays tours and safaris and especially Mack, the CEO, who makes it possible, what everybody else was unable to arrange. Looking forward to go with him on Mount Kilimanjaro. Thank you and good luck.
