- Tarangire National Park - Depart from your Arusha hotel at 8:00 AM for a 3-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full day of game drives in the park before heading to Dream Lodge for dinner and an overnight stay. Tarangire National Park is located 115 km from Arusha and spans an area of 2,800 square kilometers. The park is named after the Tarangire River, which attracts a variety of wildlife. Major attractions include large herds of elephants, tree-climbing pythons, and baobab trees. You may also spot lions, leopards, and other animals.
You will have a brief visit to a Maasai boma near your lodge to learn about Maasai culture and traditions.
- Serengeti National Park - Day 3: Tarangire to Serengeti
After breakfast, pack your luggage into the safari jeep and begin your journey to Serengeti with an en-route game drive. Enjoy lunch inside the jeep. Along the way, take in the stunning views of the Rift Valley and Ngorongoro Crater, arriving in Serengeti around 3:00 PM.
In the evening, embark on a game drive in central Serengeti to witness the sunset, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Heritage Tented Lodge.
- Serengeti National Park - Rise early at 5:45 AM for breakfast and a sunrise game drive in Serengeti. After the morning game drive, return to the campsite for a hot lunch and pack your belongings into the jeep.
Continue with an afternoon game drive in Serengeti as you head towards Ngorongoro Crater, where you will have dinner and stay overnight at Ngorongoro Rhino Lodge.
- Ngorongoro Crater - Wake up at 5:30 AM for breakfast before descending to the Ngorongoro Crater floor. Here, you can see the Big Five and various bird species, including the black rhino. Enjoy lunch inside the crater while observing the natural surroundings and high concentrations of flamingos.
After a 6 to 7-hour game drive on the crater floor, ascend and return to the campsite to pack your luggage into the jeep. Drive back to Arusha for an overnight stay.
