Arusha - Tarangire

Tarangire National Park - The safari kicks off around 8 a.m., following your breakfast. Your safari guide will collect you from your hotel, lodge, or hostel in Arusha. The journey to Tarangire National Park takes roughly 2 hours, arriving at the park gate around 10 a.m. From this point, your safari begins with a full-day game drive in the park.

Serengeti National Park - Today involves a longer drive to the renowned Serengeti National Park. After breakfast, around 8 a.m., the journey begins. The drive lasts about 3 hours, but it promises to be engaging. You’ll reach the Serengeti Gate in time for lunch at 1 p.m. Here, you’ll have lunch and can take a short walk. After an hour-long break, you’ll embark on a half-day game drive, arriving at the campsite around 6 p.m.

• Ngorongoro Gate: a brief stop, opportunity to see baboons, and learn about the crater’s history

Serengeti - Ngorongoro

Ngorongoro Crater - The safari starts early today, around 6 a.m., to catch the sunrise. After a 2-hour game drive, you’ll return to the lodge for breakfast and to collect your luggage. Following this, you’ll enjoy another game drive and gradually make your way back to Ngorongoro Crater to spend the night at the campsite.

This half-day game drive offers a chance to see numerous animals, including the best opportunity to spot rhinos. At the lake, you’ll take a short break to observe hippos. Around 11 a.m., you’ll head back to the camp for brunch and pack up for the transfer to Arusha.
