Unforgettable Safari Adventure with Meru Slopes - We booked the tour in October, and the communication was smooth and prompt. The organizer arranged a transfer from Arusha Airport and a night's stay in Arusha, both of which went seamlessly. The entire coordination was overseen by Manager Almatchius, providing a reliable point of contact for organizational queries. The 5-day safari across Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, and Ngorongoro Crater was a truly unique experience. Our guide, Florian, proved to be experienced, professional, and adept at answering all our questions. The camps were distinctive, and with a chef accompanying us throughout, we enjoyed consistently delicious meals. I highly recommend a tour with Meru Slopes; it will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience for me.

Private 5-Days Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Lodge Safari with Daniel – A Phenomenal Tourguide/Driver - From our very first communication with Geofrey Nassari regarding planning and booking, to every single moment of our 5-day safari, our experience with MERU SLOPES Tours was absolutely exceptional. The reliability, kindness, and punctuality of every staff member made the journey seamless and delightful. A very special heartfelt thank you goes to Daniel, our amazing tour guide and driver. His expertise and thoughtfulness led us to numerous breathtaking spots where we could observe the fascinating wildlife up close. His insightful narratives about the animals immensely enriched our journey. Our accommodation in the lodges was dreamlike. As a family of four, we indulged in top-notch facilities, impeccable cleanliness, and heartwarming hospitality. The culinary delights in the evening and the abundant breakfast buffet left nothing to be desired. The ambiance was unparalleled, especially when watching the animals through the mosquito net, bathed in soft moonlight at night. In conclusion, we wholeheartedly recommend MERU SLOPES Tours – an unforgettable adventure!

Safari Bucket List Perfection! - What an amazing experience! I can't say enough good things about the 5-Day Northern Tanzania Safari tour, from the moment we were picked up from the airport until we were dropped off at our hotel at the end of five incredible days, it was well organized and perfect! We toured Tarangire National Park, Serengeti National Park, Ngorongoro Crater and Lake Manyara National Park. We felt we were given the best experience in each of the locations and luckily for us, we had Freddy as our A+, top-notch, first-rate driver and tour guide. Freddy knew where to go to have the best opportunity to see animals and his eagle eye spotted elusive animals we wouldn't have otherwise seen on our own. Because of Freddy's efforts, we were able to see the Big Five, which was amazing! Freddy was not only very knowledgeable in all the animals we saw, he could also identify birds and trees and gave his interesting tidbits of information on all of them. After spending five days with him, we considered him to be our friend and he treated us like friends. He was funny, kind, engaging and just a total joy to be with. If Freddy sees this or is told about this review (and I hope he is), please tell him that Tom Kat says Hi! Two of the nights we were on safari were spent in tents. The camp was always set up and ready for our arrival. The only suggestion I would make is that in your listing for the camping tours, perhaps you could provide a list of what the guests should bring. We were not aware that we should bring our own towel and I would have brought a small pillow had I known none were provided. Those are very small concerns in relation to how many moving parts there are in making this happen for so many people. The meals were wonderful! I was flabbergasted at how many items and how good everything was considering we were camping! Our chef was Ash and he was awesome! If you are reading this review as a potential buyer and you will be going to the Ngorongoro Crater, bring warm clothes! Fortunately, I had asked in advance what the weather would be and brought warm clothes but could have brought even warmer items. Camping on the Ngorongoro Crater Rim is very cold. There were several people in shorts because they didn't know it was going to be so cold. So come prepared! Perhaps, this is another thing that could be included in the tour listing so people know how to pack. Going on a safari is for most people a once in a lifetime opportunity. I'm so glad I chose Meru Slopes for the company to organize our safari. It couldn't have gone better! Thank you! Greg and Janice

5 days safari - We had an incredible 5 days safari tour with Meru Slopes! Our guide and driver Saleh was excellent. He managed to show us rare animals like cheetas or leopards. He drove safely and was well organized. Our chef Gadi prepared us delicious food. We slept in lodge accoodation, everything was great. Special mention for the Heritage tented lodge in Serengeti who was just awesome! Mr Nassari was very attentive to our needs and adapted the tour for us. Thanks to you all, it was an incredible experience!

The Serengeti safari trip of our dreams! - We had the best time on this safari trip (5days) visiting Tarangire National Park, Serengeti & Ngorongoro Crater. Everything was well organized - we got picked up promptly at the airport, the accommodations ranged from basic to luxury, the food was impressively delicious (even all the picnic lunches), and we saw more animals than we had hoped! Our driver Mudy was the best! He was very knowledgeable about where all the animals were and was able to spot them with a single glance while driving. We saw 30+ lions over our 5-day trip. Mudy was also a very careful driver. We saw a few other safari trucks break down on the road during our trip, but Mudy maintained our truck very well and drove as smoothly as he could given the bumpy roads. I would highly recommend him! Thank you Mudy for ensuring we had the best time on our first safari!

Amazing safari trip - It was a well-organised trip from the initial pick-up from the airport and shout out to our safari guide, Innocent, who made the trip very enjoyable. With his detailed explanation one can truly understand more the beauty of the landscape and the wildlife. We managed to see all the Big 5 and learned some Swahili too. Hot food for lunch is also definitely a plus!

Great safari experience - Myself and a friend took a 5 day tour with Meru Slopes around Lake Manyara, Serengeti and Ngorongoro at the end of June 2023. The trip was fantastic, really well organised, including pick up from and transfer to the airport which were much appreciated. Our guide Innocent was brilliant, very knowledgeable about the animals we saw and was always enthusiastic and keen to show us as much as possible. He drove us for up to 10 hours a day around the national parks to make sure we maximised our time which was great, and has a fantastic knowledge of the maze of routes around the Serengeti in particular. The lodges we stayed in were lovely, putting on a delicious hot lunch for each day, and were well organised with lovely staff. Would definitely recommend Innocent and Meru to others.

Exceptional! Once in a lifetime - This was definitely once in a lifetime experience. I couldn't believe the abundance of life in Serengeti, Ngorongoro and Manyara. It was far beyond my expectations. Thanks to Jacob we saw the big 5 and all the other famous animals of the savanna - giraffes, zebras, gnus, topis, impalas, crocodiles, hippos, secretary birds, numerous eagles and vultures, and many more. But the highlight was a cheetah teaching his cubs how to hunt a gazelle. Absolutely amazing. We were so lucky, but the luck is just a fraction of the story because Jacob new where (and in this very case when) the "action" is. He is extremely knowledgeable on any matter related to the wildlife. I, personally, am passionate about birds and he was an excellent guide, identifying them in most cases within a few seconds. Once again, thank you Jacob! As per our cook, Moshi, he was absolutely brilliant in his job. Moreover, he proved to be a great person giving his own slipping bag to my wife in the Ngorongoro camp. I cannot explain how grateful I am for what he did. Thank very, very much, Moshi! And one, les emotional, remark. If you have any special requests, or something you really want to see, let Jacob know. Just make sure you have clearly set your expectations and I am sure, he will do his best to accommodate them. Asante sana baba Jacob! Asante sana baba Moshi!

Lovely experience for safari - This is my first time for safari. Very happy with Jacob and Moshi! For Jacob, he is really professional and knowledgeable. During Safari he’s able to lock animals accurately. And also can answer many questions from me. What’s more, his driving skills are fantastic, he can find a good place when there are many cars waiting for animals. For Moshi, our chef, is also fantastic! He cooked really well. We have different food every meal every day. Everytime we have our meal, we have soup, bread, and three main courses with vary kinds of beverage drinks. Often, Jacob and Moshi told me some Tanzania knowledge and language. All in all, I highly recommend mere slopes with Jacob and Moshi!

Experience of a lifetime! - When we search for safari companies in Tanzania, thousands of them appear... Which one to choose?? What is the best? Then we found a company that has over 700 reviews, and all of them are 5 stars. It's called Meru Slopes. We asked for information by email, and from the first moment Geofrey responded attentively to all our queries, organized the itinerary according to our requests, made suggestions! we are 2 adventurous friends, and we wanted to visit Tarangire, Serenguetti, Ngorongoro and Lake Manyara Parks, 5 days, accommodation in lodges. And today, like many other travelers, we want to leave our testimony, and also attribute 5 stars to the performance of Meru Slopes, not only to Geofrey, but to all the staff who work there. We particularly want to praise our guide Salehe and the chef who accompanied us. They are extraordinary!! Salehe knows all the ways, he took us to the best places to see the animals (yes, we saw the BIG 5), he knew everything about them, their way of life, he gave us the necessary time in each place, not only to take pictures, but also to feel, breathe and capture each unique moment. We did the shared safari with other travelers and the experience became even more enriching. There were 6 of us in the jeep, and each day we alternated places between us. The vehicles are very reliable, and the driver/guide is super professional. It's hard to find words to describe the feeling of waking up in the Serengetti and simply listening to nature... But my favorite day was Ngorongoro! Be sure to visit. Get in touch today, make a reservation, and ask for Salehe, he's TOP, really good. He gave us lots of tips on places to visit in Arusha at the end of the safari, and we learned a lot from him about the Masai and Tanzania in general. I STRONGLY recommend staying at the lodges, ours were spectacular (thanks Geofrey), it's really worth the difference in price. You only live once. We will be back and we will bring our friends. Keep up the excellent work!!!
