Incredible 5 day Safari! - We had the most incredible 5 days on safari with meru slopes. Everything was well organised from the beginning, with exceptional communication via Kelvin. Whilst the incredible scenery and beautiful animals were the main attraction of the Safari, it would have not been anywhere near as special without our tour guide Rashid. His knowledge and expertise of the parks meant we were able to make the absolute most of the beautiful nature, and his fun spirit made the whole experience even more enjoyable. We were cooked 3 delicious meals a day by our chef Salim, with a hot lunch and catering tailored to dietary needs and preferences. Everything about our safari was spot on, and a week to remember for a lifetime!

Unforgettable Safari with Bariki - 5 days beyond our expectations with Bariki, who turned out to be an amazing guide. He was incredibly welcoming and knowledgeable, always ready with answers to all our questions, whether about the animals or life in Tanzania. He took us up close to leopards, cheetahs, lions, and many more. We highly recommend Meru Slopes, and especially our guide Bariki, to anyone. The lodges were overall really great, especially the Friends Camp in Serengeti. The lunches were also very satisfying and well-rounded. Thank you!

Amazing safari, amazing guide - We were with Meru Slopes for a 5-day safari. We saw it all. Our guide, Santa Eli, was absolutely amazing. Answered all our stupid questions and took care of the kids. We will miss him!

Go Safari! with Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris - Meru Slopes Tours & Safaris has great guides, and accommodating, flexible office staff. I did a small group tour to the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater, Tarangire and Lake Maynara, with an additional couple days solo to Materuni Waterfalls/Coffee Plantation and a hike to Cathedral Point on Mt Kilimanjaro. Meru had a driver waiting for me when I arrived at JRO, and arranged for my hotel the night before the safari began. We spent 1 day in Tarangire, 3 in the Serengeti, 1/2 day in the Crater and 1/2 in Lake Maynara. Our safari guide, Robert, was very knowledgeable and friendly. After the rest of the group finished their tour, I had 2 days left in Arusha and I was given several day trip options. I spent 1 day going to the Materuni Falls and Coffee Plantation with Fidelis as my guide, and that day I decided I would like to do a day hike on Mt Kilimanjaro the next day. Fidelis called the office to see what could be arranged, and Meru was able to find a guide for my last minute hike request by the end of the day. Oscar was my guide for the hike the next day. Fidelis and Oscar were also friendly and great guides. In addition to the last minute hike, partway through the safari I requested that, if possible, my accommodations be changed (due to a communications error on my part, the initial accommodations were a bit lower budget than I preferred), and after a couple phone calls between Robert and the Kelvin, in the office, the change was made. Meru made everything easy. I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED the safari, and Meru Slopes was a very easy company to work with! I highly recommend them!

Awesome safari experience! - The 5-Day Safari was a great experience. From the beginning we felt well taken care of and the communication with Meru Slopes was good. They organized everything really well! The driver Andrew and chef Moshi were with us during the experience and it was lovely to enjoy freshly cooked meals during the trip. We were able to see the big 5, lots of other animals and the driver was awesome at helping us to spot them! Thank you to the whole team for making this experience truly unforgettable!

Great safari! - We went on a 5-day safari with Meru Slopes in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro parks. Everything went very well: good communication, flexibility on our requests, good lodges, comfortable vehicle, and especially very experienced Guide who did everything to make the most of our first safari. Amazing - We have just experienced an exceptional African adventure thanks to Meru Slopes and Samuel our Guide. Samuel that we highly recommend made us discover a land unknown to us. he knew with patience, gentleness and kindness to make us live moments of great emotions. A 7-day walk with perfect organization took us from Tarangire National Park through Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater. Animal diversity, diversity of landscapes only happiness. The accommodation conditions were in line with our expectations and the meals excellent. Samuel in Super Guide speaking good French allowed us to tick the 5 boxes of the big five.
