Meru Slopes Tours offered an unforgettable safari with excellent guide, delicious food and perfect organization. - Our safari with Meru Slopes was just incredible! The breathtaking landscapes and diverse wildlife have far exceeded our expectations. Camping under the stars was a magical experience and made the trip unique.
Our guide Nuru was fantastic. His ability to spot animals from afar was impressive. Thanks to him, we were able to observe the animals up close and learn a lot about their behaviour and habitats. His passion and knowledge made the safari very special. I highly recommend it to anyone planning a safari.
Yohani, our chef, was another highlight. He conjured fresh, delicious meals every day and made us laugh again and again with his humor.
Everything went smoothly and professionally from booking to completing the tour. Meru Slopes exceeded all our expectations, and I would choose her again at any time.

Amazing experience & people - We had a delay and our flight was move to another airport. Thanks to Gift Tembo we always felt secure and everything was perfectly coordinated. We were talking by WhatsApp and he organized our pickup in the new airport.
Regarding the tour, our driver and guide Nuru was amazing, he manage to spot animals so far that for us were just a small pixel. We sae the big 5, ugly 5, serval cat, a lion eating, leopard and cheeta hunting( but failing )... Was an amazing experience. Also he was telling us a lot of information about the animals, the big migration, geography...
Finally our chef Yohane prepared delicious local food everyday. He even made homemade bread! Was so taste that i had to ask for the recipe and he gave to us. Also he was teaching us some Swahili words and he had a great sense of humor.
If you have the opportunity ask for them in your tour!

On safari with Salehe and Salim 🇹🇿🦁 - It was a super fun and challenging safari. You will visit 3 beautiful parks full of different animal species. You just have to find them yourself. For this we got the experienced guide Salehe. He could spot animals long before we would ever have seen them. We have completely ticked off the big 5 and many other special species. Also the camping in the middle of the safari area was super nice. Because even at your campsite you keep seeing animals walking by. Also the food made by the cook Salim was delicious and full of locals surprises

Safari with Meru Slopes - We booked our fantastic trip with Meru Slopes.
Our guide was Salehe and the chef who joined us was Salim.
We were very happy having them with us. Salehe is a great driver and knows everything about all the animals. When we didn’t see one Salehe already spotted them from far.
Salim made the best food for us during the trip, breakfast, lunch and dinner were always fantastic.
We saw every animal that we came for. Sleeping between the animals was a very nice experience.
Would love to book a trip again in the future.

5days Safari. November 2024 - We were in 5 days safari with Meru Slopes. They are super helpful and reliable, we didn’t have to worry about anything during our adventure. We are especially happy about having Nuru as a guide. He spotted every animal on the way that nobody else could. We saw all the big 5 🫶🏻 He has a lot of knowledge and told us a lot of interesting stories ( his English is really great). He is also a really skilled driver and super nice person. A big shout out to our cook Yohane as well. He stayed with us all that time and prepared us delicious local breakfast, lunches and dinners. We even had fresh baked bread made by him everyday! And he taught us some Swahili :) we absolutely recommend them - there is no better choice. Thank you guys for an amazing experience and a lot of fun and laugh 😊

Best experience ever - Florian is an amazing guide and person! - My wife and I just finished an eight day safari trip for our honeymoon, and it was the most incredible experience ever.
In the months leading up to the trip, Gift Tembo was in constant communication with us via WhatsApp, answering all our questions and helping us prepare for the itinerary he had put together. He was super responsive and very helpful.
Upon arrival at the airport, our driver Victor was waiting for us. He picked us up, drove us to our hotel, and then even offered to give us a free tour of Arusha on our first day since we had nothing scheduled. He took us to some tourist destinations and then even organized a tour of the local market for us. He was fantastic and such a joy to spend the day with.
And finally, our safari guide Florian was spectacular! Every single morning he was ready for us where ever we were staying. He was warm, knowledgeable, funny, and knew exactly where to find every single animal. He has the entirety of the Serengeti National Park memorized. We got to witness things like a lion dragging a zebra carcass right by our truck, and a leopard cub and its mother walking right next to us. It was a breathtaking experience. More importantly, he was so welcoming and kind. We cannot recommend Florian enough. If you are booking with Meru Slopes, you should request Florian as your guide.
This was one of the greatest trips we have ever gone on and we can't thank the team enough.

Excellent Tour with MeruSlopes - This was an excellent Tour with MeruSlopes. We booked a private Safari for two persons, five days to Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro crater. Thanks to our super driver Florian we were able to see the big five and the migration of wildebeast as well as cheetas, many lions etc. Florian would spot animals even in the most hidden surroundung and give us all the time we wanted to watch.
Our cook Joanna was also wonderful, we had the best meals!
The Camping sites in Serengeti and Ngorongoro are very basic. But the tents and the support of the MeruSlopes Team made up for very nice evenings. And it was very special to have grazing elefants and Zebras right next to our tent at night and hear roaring lions close by.
The big Toyota Landruiser was in optimal condition and could handle even the most difficult routes.
All in all we had a magnificent Safari experience with spectacular landscape and animal experiences - Highly recommended!

Very happy with the safari, with the cook and the driver - We are super happy with the safari, we consider that 5 days of safari are great to see the 3 parks.
Chef Gideon prepared us all meals, phenomenal cuisine and very friendly. The cool Jacob driver too, we got to see all the animals thanks to the fact that he went quickly to the places that warned him on the radio and knew which areas were more likely to find each animal. Highly recommended!
In addition, we were included the night before and after the safari at their hotel 'Arusha Tourist Inn' which is well located in Arusha.
