He went above and beyond to ensure we saw all of the Big Five and shared fascinating insights about Tanzania’s diverse bird species, local ecosystems, and the intricate relationships within nature. His passion for wildlife was contagious, and we learned so much more than we ever expected. The safari felt like a perfect blend of adventure and exploration all thanks to his expertise and dedication. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide or a more memorable journey! He also helped my partner to arrange the best spot in the Serengeti for our engagement proposal. Amazing safari experience - We had an amazing time on our Suricata safari. We visited all 4 parks in the Northern Circuit(Ngorongoro and Serengeti our favourites, but all were great). We saw a really wide range of wildlife including all of the big 5 and our guide, Max, and chef, Jeremiah, were incredibly friendly, helpful and resourceful throughout. Max helped us see so many animals we wouldn’t have and Jeremiah's cooking was great throughout. We would thoroughly recommend.

6 Safari Tour - great experience! - We had a great experience on our 6 day safari! When we were picked up at the airport we were still nervous but Chucke welcomed us and helped us to organize all necessary’s( mosquito spray / dinner, etc.). Next day we met Lewis, our tour guide! Great guy, took his time to explain everything, never pushed and funny personality! Additionally we had a personal chef named Jeremiah who cooked 3 times a day. Also a great dude who cooked delicious food. We booked a camping safari and the both, plus all people in the camps, have made the trip special. We started in Tarangire, then headed to Lake Manyara, 2 Days Serengeti and last but not least we went 1 day to Ngorongoro (+1 day driving combined). From the great 5 to the ugly 5, thanks to Lewis we have seen everything! My personal favorite was Serengeti, as we seen so many big cats. Lion family of 18. 3 Cheetah together and leopards chilling on trees. I can highly recommend to book a tour with Suricata Safari and wish all the people the best! I proudly will tell everyone at home about that adventure 🫶

We have seen them all! - We loved our trip with Suricata! The food was amazing by jeremias! The guide Lewis was perfect! The ride and dinner with Rin were funny ! Our 6 days private camping tour was wonderful. We had very much fun and enjoyed being outside in the nature with all this wonderful animals ! We saw all animals and so our tour was a success! The Suricata dream team made this the most unforgettable experience! Don’t even bother looking elsewhere - Wow what an unforgettable experience! I booked my six day private safari with Suricata Safaris online and I can say that when I come back with the rest of my family I will 100% be booking with them again. So where to start, first off Chuke, what an absolute legend of a guy. I arrived in Arusha a day early and asked Suricata what I could do around town and they immediately organised Chuke to meet me the next day for a full tour of Arusha and also to fulfil a request of mine to donate to a local organisation in need. I’ve travelled personally to around 40 countries and Chuke is the best host I’ve ever had for a city tour. We spent a good part of the day helping a local childcare as I’d requested, which was amazing, and also we toured the city by car and on foot through markets, met a lot of locals and friends he knew personally that really added to the experience, had lunch at his favourite restaurant, this was a personal tour, not just your typical commercial style. Through a Chuke’s connections we even finished the day with a special rooftop view of Arusha that I can guarantee is not on any other tour’s list…Chuke was then my briefer for the Safari due to start the next day and just made the whole experience super smooth. There were no hidden catches or fees like happens so often, just exactly as described, which I loved. (And when I returned back from my safari Chuke was there at my hotel waiting, with a huge smile and a hug. He then made sure I was all sorted and my airport transfer (included) was setup as it needed to be. Honestly I didn’t need to worry about a thing). The first morning of my Safari I was greeted with a warm smile at my hotel by my guide for the next six days ‘Golden’. When you’re travelling solo having a good rapport with your guide is so crucial and I knew straight away that this wasn’t going to be an issue. First stop was Tarangire National Park which was epic and so well worth it. Golden knew all the best spots, often taking me locations not frequented by the other jeeps to find ‘hidden treasures’ of the park. (This continued all week). Along the way to Serengeti we picked up our personal chef for the six days Jeremiah (yes I was very spoilt!). Over the next six days he produced restaurant quality three course meals breakfast lunch and dinner on his own that simply blew my mind. He even baked fresh bread over charcoal morning and night, the food was so so good I made him give me some recipes to take home. It was a bit of a running joke that other tour guides didn’t want to sit their clients next to us at the picnic lunch spots because while they had their cardboard boxed lunches, we had three course restaurant quality! The other guides didn’t want their clients asking why they didn’t have what we had! Once we got to Serengeti we were lucky to have three nights four days to really experience the park. Like Golden said, many people come to Serengeti, but very few really experience what it has to offer. We drove far and wide, away from the hustle of central Serengeti and man did it pay its rewards. We saw the ‘big five’ but so so much more. Countless up close and personal experiences with lions, and also Cheetahs and Leopards (and everything else) that can’t be found without an extremely knowledgeable guide. I have absolutely no doubt that this experience would not have been what it was if I didn’t have Golden as my guide. If you’re going Suricata, you want Golden. Trust me. On my last day in Ngogorogoro Crater, everyone was on the hunt for a Rhino when we arrived in the morning, no guides had found one. Golden drove us straight to a location and within a minute found two rhinos, the only sighting that day and soon enough we were surrounded by a dozen cars all asking where to see them. Very cool to be in that team. On my way home I’d even shown an interest in purchasing Tanzanite and Golden personally took me into Arusha in his own time to make sure I didn’t get ripped off and got a good deal. It was genuinely a sad day saying goodbye to Chuke, Golden and Jeremiah. I don’t normally write reviews but I just had such a great experience with these guys that I felt it needed it, and also I know how hard/scary it can be booking online from overseas when you have no idea what the company is like. I’ve just done that work for you. Suricata all the way. Thank me later.

Unique and wonderful experience - Wonderful experience with Suricata Safaris. Excellent organization from the first to the last minute. We organized everything through whatsapp with the very kind and helpful Tizia. We arrived in Arusha the day before the departure of the safari and stayed at the Jevas Hotel Encore (included in our package). The formula we chose was 6 days and 5 nights, camping (tent, cot, sleeping bags provided by them): Tarangire, Lake Manyara, 2 days at Serengeti and the last morning at Ngorongoro. Very good food, especially during dinner, our cook Bipa, a young and very good boy, spoiled us and even had the care to prepare some dishes especially for our five-year-old son. Special mention to our Guide, driver and now friend, Rocky: kind, heartfelt, funny, helpful and very knowledgeable. It allowed us to live a magnificent experience and learn a lot about the animals seen. As for the parks I will not spoil the surprise but picnicking in the Serengeti, seeing the sunrise with animals or having breakfast in the crater of Ngorongoro are priceless experiences.

6 day National Park adventure in Tanzania - This was a fantastic 6 day tour of Lake Manyara, Serengeti, Tarangire and Ngorogoro Crater. Absolutely amazing. We had to book a bespoke tour to fit in with other activities at either end of this trip and Suricata were so very accommodating. Tizia was amazing to deal with via WhatsApp. Communication was first rate. Our driver Ezekiel was simply the best. His years of experience put us into the best places in the parks. We saw the lot. Yes, nature is random, but Ezekie made it possible. Thank you Ezekie. Daniel and Dennis were our assistants in Arusha and showed us around on a spare day for a half day tour. They are great people and we saw some incredible things that only local knowledge would get you to. I will say this, when booking the tour from Australia online, we were hesitant to commit, not knowing if we had chosen wisely. Fortunately for us we did. If you’re looking to explore the Serengeti and surrounds in Tanzania, be assured these guys are top notch. We were especially privileged to spend 2 nights at there own lodge on the shore of Lake Manyara - Suricata Boma Lodge. 5 stars!!!

Sensational Safari - I can’t rate Suricata Safari highly enough. We had a fantastic city tour with Mr Google Map(Daniel) and Dennis as our guide and driver. Great local knowledge and experience. We then had a fabulous 6 day private lodge/glamping trip with the wonderful Ezekie as our guide. Our accommodation was outstanding- the chiefs and staff at all facilities couldn’t be more helpful. The food was great. Suricata Safaris took care of everything.- organised the itinerary and worked with us for an individual experience. ( visited Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara, Serengeti National Park and Ngorogoro Crater). Really grateful for the wonderful memories and experience they provided. We would highly recommend them.
