This journey was both unique and challenging, but with your amazing team, I made it to the top. I took the 6-day Machame route, led by our senior guide Eli and assistant guide Diclan. Our group of four was supported by a wonderful team who made this adventure unforgettable. I’m very proud all we made to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro. Chef Jonathan kept us going with three delicious, hearty meals every day—something I never thought possible in those conditions! Each meal was both tasty and energizing. Our waiter, Efata, was so polite and attentive, bringing me coffee and tea every morning right to my tent. I already miss those wake-up moments! I especially want to thank Diclan, our assistant guide, who went above and beyond to support each of us. His professionalism, care, and attention to detail were remarkable. His English was excellent, and his medical advice was always on point. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and truly in tune with our needs. For me, Diclan was a true lifeline. During the summit climb, I struggled with altitude sickness and even vomited a few times. I felt drained and close to giving up, but Diclan stayed with me through every step. He encouraged me, supported me, and even helped clean me up when I was unwell. I’ve never experienced such genuine care; without him, I don’t think I would’ve made it to the top. Even as a first-timer with no serious hiking experience, I reached the summit because of Nafika Tours’ incredible team. Diclan is more than ready to be a senior guide. He knows everything about Kilimanjaro and how to look after climbers, especially beginners like me. I’m truly grateful for this journey and owe it all to the fantastic team at Nafika Tours. Kilimanjaro Climbing and Tanzania Safari - Nafika Tours made our Kilimanjaro adventure unforgettable. This trip was truly epic filled with moments that were inspiring, challenging, and absolutely life-changing. Best hiking experience with Nafika tours - It’s been 2 weeks since I came back from Tanzania but I am still dreaming about the journey I had in Kilimanjaro. Prior of the trip, I contacted and asked many questions because it was my first time to Africa and also attempting the tallest mountain in Africa. Elias gave all positive answers and tried to accommodate all of my requests. I even asked to change my accommodation at the last mins and he made it happen. I didn’t have Tanzanian mobile number and when I finally got the internet connection, I found out he tried to reach out to inform that driver was ready and waited for me at the airport. These little details made me very comfortable even before my hiking begins. During the hiking, we were 7 hikers in our group so we had pretty big crew with us. We had 3 guides who leaded us to the top. All of them were very experienced and took special care to make all of us successfully make to the summit. I was only person who signed up for 6 days route instead of 7 days of Machame route in our team. I had to be separated from others and made summit with smaller crews last 2 days. Goodchance was my guide for the rest of journey. I had a problem with my headlight from the beginning of summiting. The batteries I put in the head lantern was not working and the light was on and off. Goodchance asked every single person who were descending, we finally got new batteries from random people at the middle of night and the problem solved. It would been so much difficult if I had to use not the proper lantern for the summit night. The chef, waiters and porters were very friendly and help us to be as comfortable as we could on the mountain. One day they asked what our favorite food were, I said ‘Pizza’ and they actually made pizza in the middle of nowhere 3800m high on the mountain. I am still curious how they made the pizza. They also prepared very delicious traditional Chaga soup with bananas and veggies. None of us could ever lose our appetite in the high altitude. These were little things how Nafika Tours made us feel like home while we hiked the tallest mountain in Africa. They were professional for their job so we could make thing possible. I think these things make Nafika special and different from others. Choosing Nafika tour was the best choice I made for the Kilimanjaro hiking. I can highly recommend Nafika to my friends and family if they will do Kilimanjaro hiking.

Trip of a lifetime - This was without a doubt the best thing I have ever done in my life. The hike, mountain and reaching the summit was incredible but what made it truly special was our fantastic team of guides and porters, I will genuinely never forget them and their kindness to us, particularly to my husband when he got terrible altitude sickness. I was a bit apprehensive before we arrived as I haven't done anything like this before and haven't camped for years but I would do it again tomorrow if I could, our porters always picked the best spot in the campsite for us, we had so much amazing fresh food I could barely eat it all and Sebastian our main guide was always making sure we were drinking enough water, our pace was okay and kept us motivated blasting his radio on long uphill sections. I would recommend Nafika to anyone, Elias was amazing with the whole booking system, answering all my annoying questions on whatsapp within a few hours and he tailor made the trip to suit us all with two weeks notice of our arrival.

Amazing Kilimanjaro Adventure with the local people!! - Nafika Tours was professional and delivered everything they promised. We fully recommend using their services. Despite our thorough physical and mental preparations, nothing could replace the real experience, which turned out to be more challenging than we anticipated. However, Nafika Tours put together a fantastic team of experienced professionals who truly cared for us. With a support team of 21 porters and guides, they reinforced our belief that we could reach the top. Head guide Eli is an outstanding guide and human being, who we trusted completely. He made us feel relaxed and confident by taking care of everything, including daily medical checks and providing much-needed mental support. A true leader and team player, Eli brought us safely to the top of Mount Kilimanjaro and even carried my backpack when I felt unwell. At Uhuru Peak, he quickly took action to bring me down safely, ensuring my well-being. Alongside assistant guide Tony, and with the support of cook Priva, waiter Frank, and all the porters, we felt almost as if we were lifted to the top. When we returned to base camp after successfully reaching the Roof of Africa, the team welcomed us with singing and cheers, which truly melted our hearts. If we ever return to Tanzania to hike Mount Meru, we'll definitely work with Nafika Tours again and request this same team to join us on the journey. Everything went according to the proposed travel plans. And be sure to add the flush portable toilet to your hike—it’s a small extra that will make your trek much more comfortable. It's a lovely experience. - We walked the Machame Directions for 6 days and 5 nights. Everyone in the team was amazing and the food was delicious every day. Finally, we were able to reach the summit safely. The view from the summit was so beautiful that I will never forget it. I really appreciate the kind help of the Nafika team.

Kilimanjaro climbing and safari with Nafika Tours! - Just completed the Kilimanjaro trek and made it to the top – the Roof of Africa. It was quite a test, but definitely worth the effort. All that climbing requires serious preparation. You need to hit the gym and strengthen your legs. Also, ensure you have plenty of warm clothes, including rainproof outerwear, and an appropriate cold weather sleeping bag. High altitudes mean you should get the necessary medications as well. My group of friends and I went with Nafika Tours. They never tired of all my questions before the climb. I highly recommend them for your trek. The guides were knowledgeable and very sympathetic to our needs, providing regular breaks to catch our breath, daily medical check-ups, and maintaining a good pace for our hike. They even had a chef to cook our meals. The porters were friendly and extremely helpful. Reaching the top with Nafika Tours, with motivational songs along the way to the summit, was an unforgettable experience. Following the trek, Nafika Tours took us on several safaris to Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro Conservation Area, and Serengeti National Park. Our guide was excellent, consistently showcasing his knowledge and instincts. We saw so many animals and species, thanks to his patience in finding them. Our accommodations for the safaris were excellent too, with freshly baked bread daily and fabulous, plentiful meals. I wholeheartedly recommend Nafika Tours. Their experience and dedication to their work and region continually shine through.

Unforgettable Kilimanjaro climb and Safari! - For those looking for an unforgettable Kilimanjaro expedition or safari adventure in Tanzania, I highly recommend Nafika Tours as the perfect choice. We booked both a Kilimanjaro climb and a safari with Nafika Tours. Our experience on Kilimanjaro was fantastic, thanks to our two experienced and entertaining guides, Abdala and Willium. We took the 6-day Machame route and had a successful climb. During the trek, our cook provided us with three warm meals per day, which were surprisingly good most of the time. However, the public toilet situation might be challenging for some people, so opting for a private toilet could be a better option. The porters, tent crew, and everyone supporting the climb worked incredibly hard to make our trip comfortable. Each time we arrived at a campsite, our tents were already set up, and our bags were waiting for us. The day of the summit climb was long and difficult, but our guides had extra support with us to ensure that we all made it to the summit successfully and safely. After completing the Kilimanjaro climb, we embarked on a 4-day safari, visiting Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro. If you plan to visit Serengeti, I recommend a minimum of 4 days for the safari. Our guide, Octavian, was funny and experienced, and thanks to him, we managed to see all of the Big Five animals! The landscape in Serengeti and Ngorongoro is like what you see in movies and documentaries, but my personal favorite was the Ngorongoro Crater – don't miss it! Over the course of six days, we experienced an unforgettable adventure that tested our strength and endurance. I would recommend the six-day trek only to those who are physically fit and strong, as it can be quite challenging otherwise. Every member of our team, including our guides, chef, and porters, went above and beyond to ensure our experience was exceptional. We were treated with utmost respect, and nothing was too much trouble for anyone. Our guides, Justin and Albert, were outstanding. They led us to the summit and back without any issues of altitude sickness, allowing us to set our own pace during the descent. We also appreciated their insights into Tanzanian culture, which added depth to our experience. Chef Jonathan amazed us with his culinary skills, providing us with a variety of delicious meals throughout the journey, despite the high altitudes. We even received a whole cake upon summiting, which was a delightful surprise. Our team members, including camp manager Rizik, waiter Noely, summit porter Efath, and others, all played integral roles in ensuring our comfort and safety throughout the journey. We were particularly impressed by the porters' strength and speed in carrying our gear. Nafika Tours is fortunate to have such a dedicated and talented team.
