Incredible Safari Tour with the best Guide called „Mandarin“ - The experience of the safari was incredible. Everything went smoothly. We got picked up on time every day. We would recommend to stay at the serengeti national park not only for one day but two. There we saw a lot of special animals and even their babys which is very rare. One highlight was the leopard with his baby. To see all the the animals that we saw wouldnt be possible without an experienced guide. We had a great one called „Mandarin“. Also the food that was cooked for us was very delicious. Everyday there was something different to eat even for vegetarians. Our cooking chief was called „Pascal“. We also recommend going in a group because the long distances between the parks would be very boring if you’re alone with your partner. All in all it was a great experience that we will never forget. Besides the safari we would also recommend going on the coffee plantage tour. There we had a nice tour of an local that showed us the materuni waterfalls and explained us how the „chaga“ tribe lives. After that we had the best lunch we had on the entire trip wirh local foods. After lunch we got to experience how traditional coffee was made and could taste our selfmade coffee. Also here went everything smoothly. With African Serengeti Tours (company) you could always talk about modifications of your tour and pick up locations or drop off locations. After the whole six days our guide dropped us of at moshi where we wanted to stay one night instead of arusha how it was originally planned.

Well worth whole - We really enjoyed the safari with this tour company. There were some issues with the car, but that got sorted. Matthew our cook & Simon the driver was really good, both adding to the joy. We were incredibly lucky to see the big 5, a 65 yr old (est) Elephant, 5 lionesses in a successful gazelle hunt, rino, cheetah, leopard, Ostriches, gnu, croc, zebra, the list goes on. Worth the cold showers! The waterfall & coffee were an enjoyable end. Exc communicators too. Hot air balloon v worthwhile.

Wow! - Wow! What an unforgettable tour! I cannot recommend this enough! Our Safari guide Godfrey was incredibly knowledgeable and did everything in this power to ensure we had a wonderful trip, including getting the Big 5! Camping in The Serengeti will be an experience I’ll never forget! The food was also amazing! Nothing like home cooked style food for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Our waterfall and coffee tour guide Kelvin was incredible. What a welcoming, kind and energetic human! Kelvin is super knowledgeable about the Materuni flora and fauna, and it was clear throughout the whole day that he is passionate about sharing the history and culture of the Chugga tribe. Special shout out the the coffee doctor, Justin, who was a total legend! If you are planning to do this tour make sure you have extra cash for the final day, lots of chances to tip and buy local products like the coffee and banana beer.

Outstanding Experience - Took this trip with my family and it was a wonderful experience. Our guide, Godlisten, and Chief, Matthew did a great job. Godlisten is knowledgeable and knows exactly where to go in the Parks. Matthew cooked great meals throughout the trip. Our accommodations actually exceeded expectations for the "Economy Safari" we stayed in a combination of cabins & tents. Wildlife sightings were almost constant at all the parks. We were with another family and it enhanced the experience. If you opt for the Waterfall tour, I'd recommend that you are in reasonable physical condition. It is about an hour hike each way with fairly steep inclines. The tour company director, Lucas, took the time to meet us at the end of the trip to ensure we were satisfied,

Must do experience - I was quite worried about doing the tour as it was the first time I had travelled solo however, from the moment I was picked up by my driver Calvin I felt safe and secure and could not have been in better hands. In addition to this, Calvin was an incredibly great spotter and pointed out many animals that we would have otherwise missed. He was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals and there were none that he could not name or provide information on. I highly recommend Serengeti Tours to anyone traveling either alone or as a couple

My honest review of a Safari trip with the Serengeti African Tours operator - In February 2024 together with my wife and my adult granddaughter we took a Safari trip to Tanzania National Parks. This trip was promised to my granddaughter long ago, but I had no time to fulfill my promise. I am very meticulous about details when I travel, thus I started to read internet to see what people write about their experience. Among others, I found a few good reviews of the company by the name Safari African Tours. In principle I do not fully trust many of the reviews published on Internet but decided to try. Now after the tour is over, I must say that not only all these excellent reviews of the Safari African Tours are true, but in my many years of business and personal travels I never experienced such a perfect service as provided by the Safari African Tours and personally by its owner and manager Mr. Lucas David! First of all, Lucas was always available to answer your question and to give some advice. Before the trip I called him through WhatsApp many times and e-mailed him multiple times to receive an answer within 24 hours. Lucas offered many options for the future travel both regarding the price and the schedule. Important, he was never pushy to choose a higher price but let you decide based on your budget. Since both me and my wife are not young, I chose a relatively expensive (at least for my wallet ) private travel for our group of three to visit four National parks including Serenegeti an Ngoro-Ngoro and having a day hiking trip to Kilimanjaro . Now I must say that our travel was worth of every dollar I spent on it. Importantly, Lucas was attentive and responsive not only before the start of the travel, but also after I paid for it on the first day of the travel. Moreover, after our travel was over, we decided spent an extra day in Moshi and Lucas provided us for this day a complimentary hiking to the Materuni waterfalls and visit to te coffee makers that was one of the jewels of the entire trip. Lucas solved immediately all the smallest problems during the tour that inevitably arise in a 11-day travel making your journey smooth and perfect. Also, it seems that Lucas managed to hire highly professional guides. Our main driver-guide Abu was more than excellent. He was knowledgeable on animals and on Tanzania in general. Although, according to him, he was on Safari more than a thousand times, he was as enthusiastic as us tracing various animals and driving us to where they can be spotted. As the result we have seen all the main animals. Thank you, Abu! Several other Lucas’ staff we met, in particular two drivers by the same name Kelvin were very friendly and helpful, especially one who accompanied us to the Materuni waterfalls! As a scientist who wrote hundreds of reviews of the works of my colleagues, I know that for fairness one must add a couple of critical notes to improve the future work. But in the case of Lucas’ the Safari African Tours I do not have any critical remarks. I wish he will remain to be perfect for the future travelers as he was for us.

Amazing six days in Tanzania! - Lucas and his team helped organise an amazing safari for me, and a great trip to the Materuni waterfalls and coffee tour on my final day, which was a great addition. They were always a great pleasure to deal with, and willing to help and answer any of my questions. They took a lot of stress out of the holiday, which left me able to enjoy all the amazing experiences offered in Tanzania. I would thoroughly recommend booking with Serengetii African Tours to anyone looking for a great safari experience.

Excellent safari! - The safari to Tarangire, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater and Conservation Area was excellent. The guide, Lewis, was quite knowledgeable, the accommodation better than other camp sites, and the meals very delicious. It also helped that we saw all five of the Big 5! In addition, we saw baby elephants rolling about in the mud, a pack of spotted hyena dealing with a carcass, and a male and female lion attempting to mare. Lake Manyara was a little disappointing because the heavy rains had stirred up the mud in the water and discouraged the birds from feeding there. I also felt that the guide was not as informative as Lewis. The visit to Materuni Falls was good although very muddy because of the wet weather. The food was excellent and the coffee tour very lively and entertaining.
