Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - The safari adventure kicks off today! After enjoying breakfast, the operator will pick up guests from their hotel and embark on a 2-hour drive to Tarangire National Park. This park is renowned for its impressive elephant herds and the majestic Ancient Baobab trees, the largest on the continent. From the vehicle’s open roof, guests will witness the seasonal swamps, savanna, and the wildlife-rich Tarangire River, home to a diverse array of birds, giraffes, impalas, zebras, lions, leopards, elands, warthogs, and elephants. The picnic site offers a breathtaking view, where guests will enjoy a picnic lunch before continuing with game viewing. The day concludes at Fig Tree Lodge, where guests can relax, enjoy dinner, and stay overnight.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, the journey to Serengeti begins. The long and bumpy road offers a fascinating game drive en route, taking approximately 4-5 hours through the crater highlands to the expansive Serengeti plains. A picnic lunch is planned before entering the park for an afternoon drive. After witnessing the sunset, guests will head to Seronera campsite for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - The entire day is dedicated to exploring the park. Starting at sunrise, guests will embark on a full-day game drive, discovering the stunning Serengeti landscape and searching for the Big Five. After returning to the campsite for a hot lunch, the afternoon game drive continues. Beyond the large mammals, Serengeti is home to over 500 bird species, from the large ostrich and unique secretary bird of the grasslands to the black eagles soaring above the savannah. The day concludes with a return to camp at sunset for dinner and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro

Serengeti National Park - An early start at around 6 am allows for a sunrise game drive, capturing the animals at their most active. Breakfast is enjoyed at a picnic site in the bush before continuing the game drive. Guests return to camp around noon for a hot lunch, then pack up and depart for Ngorongoro, where dinner and an overnight stay await at Simba campsite.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater - After an early breakfast, guests descend into the crater. This breathtaking location is home to nearly every species of wildlife native to East Africa, including the rare black rhino. With some luck, one might be spotted. Guests can choose between a picnic lunch at Hippo Lake or a hot lunch at the camp. The day ends at Fig Tree Lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Lake Manyara National Park

Lake Manyara National Park - Following breakfast, a short 5-minute drive leads to the park’s entrance. Known for its tree-climbing lions, Lake Manyara is a small yet diverse park, featuring a salt lake that fluctuates with the seasons, attracting thousands of flamingos and over 300 other bird species. The park’s varied landscape includes grassy plains, primate-filled woodlands, and baobab-dotted cliffs. The return to Arusha is expected around 4 pm, with flexibility for those needing to catch a flight.
