Unforgettable Safari Experience with Rahim - My friend Melanie and I had the pleasure of spending 5 incredible days with Rahim from Gosheni Safaris – from Tarangire to Serengeti and finally Ngorongoro. Rahim made this journey an unforgettable experience in every way. From the very first moment, he made us feel completely safe with his calm and confident driving – even on the most challenging roads. His deep knowledge of the animals, the landscapes, and the entire ecosystem was truly impressive. He always knew where to look and had an incredible eye for spotting animals. Amazing Experience with Gosheni! - Easily one of the most incredible experiences of my life. The staff is AMAZING and we were so lucky to have been paired with Daudi as our guide. Because of his vast knowledge, patience, and expertise, we were able to see so many animals including a total of four leopards. One of my favorite days in particular was when Daudi took us to some less ventured areas of the Serengeti and spotted a leopard in a tree. We were able to view it amazingly close with no other tour companies around! When he alerted the other guides, they told him they had saved the day for their clients! Also because of Daudi’s patience and willingness to venture off the beaten path, we were able to see so many lions including 2 BEAUTIFUL male lions up close (also with no one other tour groups around). The last day we had to drive through Tarangire after some heavy rains. The roads very wet, muddy and insanely difficult to navigate. Daudi’s expertise and VERY impressive driving skills got us through these rough patches of road safely and seamlessly. We were really so lucky to have Daudi as our guide - not only is he an incredible guide but he was so friendly, open and dedicated to ensuring we have the best experience possible. 10/10 life experience! One of the best experiences of my life! - An experience of a lifetime. Absolutely amazing staff and the BEST guide. Our guide Daudi was fluent in English and so incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, open to share, and determined to take us off the beaten path where other land cruisers wouldn’t go. Because of his efforts, we saw FOUR leopards, and one exceptionally close (with no other land cruisers around) for 30 minutes!!! When he notified the other guides, they said he saved the day! We also saw three lion prides. One pride shortly before the close leopard encounter because of his decision to take us far out into the Serengeti. We were the only Land Cruiser around when that happened. He was always with a happy and friendly disposition, and worked so hard to give us the best experience possible. It rained our second to last day on the safari, so the path was quite difficult to navigate. Daudi really handled that situation like a pro with confidence and was calm the whole time. 10/10 hospitality Asante sana!

Don’t settle for less than the best. - All I can say is wow, what an experience! From start to finish our trip with Gosheni was nothing short of extraordinary. Norah was our first point of contact and helped us build a bespoke package for our honeymoon, taking into account our budget and aims for the trip. This was all handled very smoothly and without any hassle. William was our guide for the 5 days, what an amazing man. He has built himself up from being a humble porter trekking up and down Kilimanjaro to becoming an expert safari guide. Believe it or not 5 days is not a long time for a safari in Tanzania, but William was totally focussed on making sure we saw all the big 5 plus a leopard and even a cheetah hunting. All I can say is put your trust in William, let his expertise do the talking and you will not be disappointed. He not only understands the animals, but how their behaviours relate to one another. This meant that in the Serengeti he knew to follow the wildebeest migration to find all the big cats. Lo and behold in doing so we saw lions, leopards and cheetah close up in just one afternoon. William really went the extra mile for us on many occasions, making sure we were comfortable even eating lunch in a rainstorm, he made us the envy of other travellers by setting a table up for us under the cruiser awning, which no other guides wanted to do for their guests in the pouring rain! Speaking of the cruiser, it was such a well maintained and comfortable vehicle and William once again proved his expertise in throwing it round each park with ease, but also knowing its limits and turning round where there was a risk of getting stuck (we saw many vehicles that hadn’t been as lucky). Overall I would not hesitate to recommend Gosheni. Incredible hosting, expertise and knowledge. 5 stars.

Our driver Juma was great, Gosheni needs some improvement. - Thanks to our guide Juma, we had an unforgettable experience of a lifetime. Juma was nothing less than great, and we cant thank him enough. Now in regards to Gosheni and why i gave them 3 stars instead of 5. 1) Once we made initial booking with Norah and paid a deposit all communications just stopped. No one even reached out 30 days before the trip for the remaining payment, which made me very uneasy. I had to reach out few times just to confirm that everything is still good. In all fairness Norah promptly responded every single time, but when you booking a trip like that and everything goes silent, it creates a level of uneasiness. I was also told that Norah would be contacting us for a post trip debrief which has not been done. So on a communications side Gosheni has a lot of room for improvement. 2) I've been planning our trip with Norah for some time and made it clear that we're looking for luxury accommodations. I fully relied on Norah for advice, in fact even added a day to our itenirary based on her advice, so cost never came up. 2 out of 3 accommodations were good, however acacia-seronera-luxury-camp was an equivalent of a 2 star motel. Molded tents were discusting, camp was in horrible condition and hazardous, the list goes on and on. I left a separate trip advisor review for the camp with pictures. What i don't understand is how does Gosheni even recommends camps like that, staying there for 2 nights negated all the great memories and experiences we had and if not for Juma this trip could easily have turn into a nightmare the last 2 days of the trip. Many friends look at our serengeti pictures and ask us for the referral. Frankly, we just simply unable to recommend Gosheni due to what i listed above while I cant say enough good things about our driver Juma. You draw your own conclusions and feel free to ask me questions.
