- Arusha National Park - After breakfast at 8:00, you will be greeted by our professional tour guide/driver, who will provide a brief safari information session. We will then head east to Arusha National Park. This charming and compact park is the nearest national park to both the renowned Arusha “safari town” (50 km) and Kilimanjaro International Airport, making it perfect for 1-day safaris or tours. The park is not only rich in wildlife but also one of the most scenic and topographically diverse parks in Tanzania. Its three main attractions are the rugged Mount Meru (Tanzania’s second highest peak at 4566m), the distinctively colored Momela Lakes, and the 3km wide Ngurdoto Crater, which formed around fifteen million years ago!
You will embark on a walking safari with a ranger to explore the park.
Enjoy a picnic lunch in the afternoon, and in the evening, we will drive you back to your hotel.

Wonderful day, highly recommended - I had a spare day in Arusha and arranged with Florence a one day tour. Warren was the driver and wildlife expert. I had the best day; both guides were friendly and helpful and I saw loads of wildlife, much of which I wouldn’t have seen for myself in the foliage. I can’t recommend this tour highly enough, wonderful.
