I would recommend - This was our first of 6 safari locations spanning Arusha National Park, Tarangarire, Ngorngoro Crater, and Central Serengeti. A great introduction to Tanzania's warm culture and the beautiful animals. Our guide Julius was informative, interesting, fun, and made us feel safe the entire day. Although a little further away than we saw at the other parks, we did see giraffes, colobus monkeys, zebras, Cape Buffalo, and a hippo! Baboons were also plentiful and entertaining. Lunch overlooking the lake was very good and water through the day was plentiful.

Took the tour the last day of my 1... -
Took the tour the last day of my 1 week trip, flying out at 8:50pm, tour lasted 7:30am - 5pm, paid the tour company to drop me off at The airport at the end of the tour. Worked out perfectly.

After a six day safari visiting Serengeti, ngorongoro, tarengeri and lake manyara, I was not expecting much. But it is beyond my expectations! The walking safari was the highlight. We were lucky to run into a family of 5 giraffes right at the start of the walking tour. It's amazing walking on soft grass grounds, 10 meters from giraffes, 50 meters from a few buffaloes, with another huge herd of buffaloes 100 meters away on the other side of a small creek, with mountain meru as the background There are also a lot of sighting of baby giraffes, in addition to flamingos lake, hippos lake, lot of monkeys. It's mostly a rain forest, very different look from the other parks. A great way to end my first safari!

My guide was amazing. It's low season, I was the only guest in the car, just like a private tour. Highly recommended!
