Arusha National Park may not house big predators, but it is abundant with various animals. Discover Ngurdoto Crater, inhabited by vast herds of buffaloes, bushbucks, warthogs, and zebras. Perfect organization - We booked our safari in Germany and the local organizer was Tanzania Safari Bug. Many thanks to Sandra and Michael, who are based in Arusha. Both of them did a first-class job of making sure everything went smoothly and that all the "program items" took place. Communication was great and worked smoothly at all times.

Perfect organisation, family friendly, interactive and comfortable - We took a 6 day Safari trip with Tanzania Safari Bug. We are a family of 6 and were joined by our friends, a family of 4.
We were greeted by Sandra and Michael at the Mokka House in Arusha. We travelled in 2 Jeeps and accompanied by 3 Park rangers David, Rajabu and Prince. Everything was planned and executed to perfection. We had an adventurous, amazing time. We were lucky enough to experience the Serengeti with all its inhabitants and wilderness. We witnessed a lioness hunting, elephants duelling and little gazelles playing. Our park rangers were very experienced and didn’t shy away to go the extra mile to show us the rarest of animals in their natural habitat. They put us at ease all the way through our amazing journey, entertained our children and teenager, aged 10 - 19. They made sure we were always safe and well provided for. It was like a family and friends trip, from the first moment. David, Rajabu and Prince made us feel welcome and comfortable. Sandra and Michael welcomed us back after our Safari, a very personal touch. I can recommend Tanzania Safari Bug 100%, I would travel with them again in a heart beat.

dreamlike experiences and an engagement proposal - You can 100% recommend Tanzania Safari Bug.
We felt very well looked after from start to finish, for which we were very grateful.
Sandra put all her energy into the planning and responded very quickly to the many questions we had.
Despite a few difficulties (multiple flight changes), Sandra was always able to adapt our safari plan so individually that we were absolutely happy with it. On site, everything worked smoothly and the selected accommodations were perfect for us.
What made the holiday very special was an engagement proposal in the middle of the Sergenti at a bush dinner. It was a dream! Here too, Sandra supported my fiancé very well with the planning and was also available to answer many questions.
Our guides Gismas and Prince were absolutely unique, humorous and passed on all their knowledge to us.
We thank you and the team for this fantastic safari and the memories we have collected that we will never forget.

Great safari experience, 100% recommendation - Going on Safari with Tansania Safari Bug was a remarkable and excellent experience. We saw every animal we hoped for and the service was even beyond our expectations. Even though we booked a camping safari to be closer to the animals and to get a more adventurous experience, we felt safe at any time. The best guide you can probably wish for was our guide Frank Winstone. He was very competent and could answer any question about Tanzanian traditions, wild life and he even taught us how to speak some Swahili. Furthermore, he is a great driver who guided us safely through Tarangire and Serengeti Nationalpark as well as Ngorongoro crater. Also our chef Peter prepared delicious meals for us every day for breakfast, lunch and diner. Overall, I would recommend Tanzania safari bug to everyone who wants have an authentic safari experience with a friendly, capable and very polite team around.

Exceptional safari - Simply sublime, the views, the hotels (in tents), the animals, the caring, kind staff we met during our safari, head-filling memories, camera-filling memories. And the icing on the cake, our guide Nickson, French-speaking, adorable almost a member of the family, he knows the places, the animals and has an eagle eye to spot them, a big thank you to him who helped make this magical safari.

Unforgettable trip to the south of Tanzania - We have already done several safaris in different countries in Africa. This safari is to be our last and it is to be something special. Our goal was to experience a tour tailored to our needs. We had a good feeling about Tanzania Safari Bug from the first time we contacted them. We didn't just want to jet through the national parks, our goal was also to experience the lives of the people, the culture and the landscape. We visited the Mikumi, Ruaha and Nyerere national parks. The Ruaha and Nyerere parks are still very natural and original. There are only a few tourists in this area and so the stay in the parks and lodges is very pleasant and welcoming. We were able to make wonderful animal observations. Michael drove us safely through the areas and through the parks. Traveling overland is probably more strenuous but definitely recommended, as it gives you a profound and lasting impression of the lives of the people and also of the enormous variety of agricultural products such as fruit, vegetables etc. that thrive and are offered here. The excursions to the Udzungua Mountains were a special experience. The hike to the Sanje waterfalls through the mountain rainforest is also something unique.
Michael was able to explain and show us everything we needed to know with his in-depth and comprehensive knowledge.
Prince always helped us with his German skills when our English skills were not sufficient and was always very helpful. Thanks also to Sandra for planning the route that was right for us and organizing the tour smoothly.
We were able to experience an impressive and wonderful trip - we are very grateful for that. We would definitely travel with Tanzania Safari Bug again. Asante Sara.

Wonderful day.. Well organised - What a great company. We were met at reception by Michael, he talked us through what to expect from the tour. He then introduced us to Prince and Frank our guide and driver for the day. We had a great day, despite not seeing too many animals. Prince was very knowledgeable on the animals we did encounter and it was all very exciting and amazing. Frank sought out every area and corner to ensure we saw as many species as possible. The walk with the ranger was informative and fun as we did get a little closer to the buffalo's etc. Lunch was delicious and plentiful. We had a great day and would certainly recommend this tour as the tour operator - Michael, Prince and Frank made the whole day memorable. Thank you

Lion hunting in the Serengeti - The individual planning and implementation of our Tanzania trip fully met our expectations. The offer was carefully organized and fully in line with our expectations. Dave, our driver and guide, knew how to lead us safely through the Tangire, Manyara, Ngorongoro and Serengeti national parks with his eagle eyes and great sensitivity. A special highlight was that we were able to experience the lion hunting a wildebeest or the cheetah family eating their fresh prey up close. The special luggage transport by plane without our accompaniment also worked out perfectly. After the safari, we visited the Tuwapende Watoto Foundation and brought additional luggage with us. The final ferry ride to Sanibar and the relaxing stay on the Indian Ocean rounded off the trip perfectly. We would happily recommend Sandra, Miachael and the Tanzania Safari Bug team at any time and are already looking forward to another trip through an as yet unknown part of Tanzania.

Family trip with Safari Bug to Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar - We had a fantastic trip with Safari Bug to Tanzania mainland and Zanzibar. We organized the trip with the great help from Sandra and had a very good Safari with Michal who drove us very safely and experienced through the Northern N.P. and afterwards a relaxing stay on Sansibar beach and Stone Town. Sandra is very flexible and we really had a very good tailor made package with wonderful lodges and hotels. We travelled together with our 6 year old son and everything worked out or could be adjusted to our needs. Highly recommended!

Lifetime experience - From the landing in Arusha, everything was smooth and easy going. Michael, owner Tanzania Safari But greeted us at the airport and delivered safely to the lodge where we met his wife and kids. Such lovely personal touch. Next day we set off to Safari with our guide Gismass. Amazing guy, polite, funny, helpful and most importantly very interested into wildlife. Our safari itinerary was precisely prepared. We did visit Tangerine park, Serengeti and Ngorongoro. Tangerine was amazing introduction but the real adventure started in Serengeti, as we were able to follow great migration. Accommodation was perfectly selected, luxury tented lodges, usually with swimming pool and very good food. Lunches were arranged as picnics, very stylish with wine not missing. The car was reliable, comfortable and Gismass did not hesitate to accommodate our requests if possible. If you go for Safari you want to see as many animals as possible and Gismass is real expert in spotting them (including cats like leopards, cheetah or pair of lions on honeymoon) and explaining facts about their life, environment etc . The binocular was for disposal.
We spoke to two German tourist at the end of our safari who were very disappointed with heir experience and when comparing their itinerary which included central Serengeti only, we were lucky to explore west part and the north where watching wild beets crossing Mara river was one of the highlights of the trip.
We continue to Zanzibar, Safari Bug arranged the domestic flight and accommodation and excursions. Again, transportation was comfortable, the hotel excellent and no problems occured.
In conclusion: this is a small company which adds a personal touch to your trip, the itineraries are carefully selected and the guides knowledgeable. Our accommodation was on higher level so it came with slightly higher price but midrange options are available. Definitely good value for money. Highly recommendable.
