Embark on an exciting day trip safari to Mikumi National Park from Zanzibar Island. Experience a thrilling game drive and enjoy a delicious lunch inside the park.
- Mikumi National Park - Early in the morning, our driver will pick you up from your location in Zanzibar and take you to the airport for your 7:00 am flight to Mikumi, arriving at 7:45 am.
Upon arrival in Mikumi, you will meet your driver/guide and embark on a game drive in a jeep/4x4 land cruiser until 1:00 pm, when you will have lunch inside the park before concluding the game drive.
After the game drive, our guide will escort you to the airstrip for your return flight to Zanzibar.
Once back in Zanzibar, a driver will be waiting to take you back to your hotel.
Commonly seen animals in Mikumi: Giraffe, hippo, buffalo, elephant, zebra, baboon, eland, wildebeest, antelope, etc.
Occasionally seen animals in Mikumi: Jackal, hartebeest, crocodiles, lion, etc.
Rarely seen animals in Mikumi: Leopard, spotted hyena.

This is typically itinerary.
Early in the morning, our driver will pick you up at your place in Zanzibar and drive to the airport to catch your transfer to Mikumi which departs 07:00am and will arrive in Mikumi park at 07:45am.
On arrival at Mikumi you will meet your driver/guide and start game drive in a jeep/4X4 land cruiser which can take six to eight persons depending on the number of seats it has, so you will do game drive until 1pm for lunch inside the park then finish the game drive.
In the end our guide will assist you to unloading area where you will meet your awaiting transfer back to Zanzibar.
On arrival in Zanzibar, the driver will be ready to pick you up for the return back to your hotel.
