- Mnemba Island - Located at the southern tip of Zanzibar island, Mnemba fishing village is home to numerous schools of bottlenose and humpback dolphins. Upon arrival, we take a motorized boat to search for dolphins, which are often spotted after a short boat ride from the village. If you’re fortunate, you might get the chance to swim close to these dolphins, offering a highly rewarding experience. We schedule this trip in the afternoon to avoid the morning tourist crowds, which can disturb the dolphins in large numbers.
- Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park - Also known as Jozani Forest, Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park is the only national park on Zanzibar Island in Tanzania. Though small at just 50 square kilometers, it is a beautiful and serene place to visit and a must-see tour. The park is home to endangered red colobus monkeys, providing wonderful photo opportunities and sightings of these rare creatures along the pathways. You’ll also visit the floating mangrove bridge and explore the impressive flora and fauna, including a visit to the mangrove swamp and a walk through the mangrove forest, which is one of Zanzibar’s highlights.
Our guides are naturalists and nature enthusiasts who ensure you have a fantastic time in the nature reserve.
The forest serves as a natural pharmacy and is an incredible source of natural remedies, with every plant or tree offering some form of cure.
- Kuza Cave - Located in Jambiani on the East Coast of Zanzibar, Kuza Cave offers a unique experience for adventurous nature lovers, snorkelers, divers, and those interested in Swahili culture. The cave is a 50-meter round sinkhole in the middle of a small jungle. Cross a small bridge and descend a few stairs to enter this underground oasis. The cave’s circular shape is the result of over 250,000 years of rainwater eroding the limestone. A large natural rock sculpture shaped like an elephant is used by locals as an altar to make offerings to the spirits residing in the cave and seek their support.
- Paje Beach - Renowned for kiteboarding, Paje Beach features clean, shallow, crystal-clear waters and luxurious resorts. Tourists can enjoy activities like swimming and snorkeling around the Blue Lagoon area. Situated on the southern shores of Unguja Island, between Jambiani and Bwejuu village, Paje Beach is one of the best beaches in Zanzibar Islands. It has become a popular destination for travelers seeking water-based adventures, with kiteboarding being particularly favored.
