First time Safari and seen much more than expected - Around begining of the last year, I have decided to make a Safari trip in east Africa. After doing some research, soon I was sure that the option with Meru Slopes was very promising. And now, after looking back to that trip, I can say that it was more than great or ever expected. I was traveling solo, and joinining group can always go in different directions. However, the group which I joined was great, every one of us was very felxible about preferences and we coud meet decessions easily. Our driver and guide Lobulu did everything to show us all the animals, and specially we were happy seing all the big five. And as we were all first time safari visitors, all the questions we had Lobulu was able to answer. Our cook chef Dulla was beyond any expectetions. I got used to enjoy great meals every day, that I can say even today I am missing some of those meals. Especially in memory will be lunch break in the middle of Serengeti National Park. That is why I can more than recommend Meru Slopes and Lobulu and Dulla!

Authentic Big 5 experience - We got to see all the big 5, even 2 cheetahs and a leopard in one day. Our guide, Asanteali, went above and beyond to show us all the animals. The accommodation was really authentic, we stayed at some special lodges and camps. Our favourite was Embalakai camp where there were local Masaai warriors keeping us safe at night, very cool. Highly recommended Meru Slopes.

Great trip. - I was really pleased I went with Meru Slopes. Great guides, great food, and good camps. The guides went to great effort for us to see everything. I was also very impressed with the communication from Meru Slopes. A big thank you to Jerome who communicated promptly over email and met me on the first day of the tour.

Amazing stay at Tanzania and excellent service - This was a memorable trip and we had excellent planning done by the Meru Slopes team. Mr. Jerome, our planner had planned all the activities, stays etc well in advance and we had no issues with anything. They even accommodated a delayed flight arrival and change of airports from Arusha to Kilimanjaro at last moment by the airline. Our guide for the tour, Mr. Jacob, is a fun man to be with. And he is an excellent spotter and we had a wonderful time with him throughout the trip. Also, Mr.Dula the cook kept us well fed all the time. He also took care of individual preferences as well in the 'constrained' safari environments!

Trip of a lifetime - We had an amazing 5 days with Jacob as our guide and Dula as our chef. Jacob was on task at all points, knowing where the animals were and we saw more animals than we imagined possible! So many lions and cheetahs, even a leopard eating its dinner up in a tree. 😍 A tip: Ngorongoro crater gets cold at night and during early morning game drives, bring warm clothes!

A great experience organised by very helpful and trustworthy folks - Couldn’t recommend this tour more highly. Our guide saleh and chef Gideon were fantastic and took great care of us. We saw all of the big 5 - Saleh has fantastic knowledge of wildlife and Gideon cooked us some great food. What really stood out was how helpful and flexible Meru as a whole were. Our flight was delayed by a whole day, and they arranged for us to be driven out and catch out with the rest of the group without charging us anything. They were incredibly trustworthy and caring and made our trip very smooth.

1000% Recommended - Fresh from our trip through Tanzania. I took the safari with Meruslopes because it was the best price offered. We had to pay 25% by transfer from Spain and the rest on arrival, in cash or by card (by card you have a 3% commission). With the fears of hiring such valuable remote things we arrived at Kilimanjaro airport and a very friendly and attentive boy was waiting for us there. When we arrived at their headquarters in arusha we were waiting for Tembo, the commercial we had been talking to, they invited us to breakfast, amazing how good the pancakes were. The breakfast and payment came to meet our Guide, Abdul, I N C R E I B LE, we have no words to describe him, a boy who speaks Spanish perfectly even uses our expressions and chacarrillos, no speaking a little Spanish.. PERFECTLY. Abdul knows the seregenti like the back of his hand, with only two days in the park we could see the Big Five (the rhinoceros we saw in Ngorongoro crater) the cheetah that made us specially excited and did not stop until getting it, lions with cubs less than 3 meters from the car... a show . He is a lovely Guide who will make your car hours enjoyable, telling you all about life in Tanzania, your customs your way of life, everything. 10000% recommended! They fulfilled all the hotels we had booked and dropped us back to the airport at the time we indicated (2:30 in the morning), they are reliable people who are delighted to receive and open to the visitor.

Excellent tour company and excellent guide. - Although I have joined the camping tour group, the operator was able to accommodate my request to stay in Lodge instead of sleeping in camps. I have to pay additional charges for staying in the lodge. It is definitely worthwhile to upgrade to Lodge if you want the comfort. My driver and guide is Andrew. He is excellent guide that knows what the best to show us. For example, there was once our jeep had to queue infront of many jeeps to see a lioness with three cubs. He would wait until all the jeeps were gone and drive the jeep a closer to let us have a closer view. He also took the initiative to drive the shortcut out of the park so that we could see the great migration in a shorter time of travel. He is so experienced and knowledgeable about the wild animals. I would also like to thank Kevin who is the sales person for being so responsive. I wrote to a few operators for enquiry and he was the first to reply me with good information that I needed.
