Excellent Kilimanjaro Climbing - It was great to be back in Tanzania amongst our friends from Migration Venture Africa. We booked the Kilimanjaro trek, which was easy as we were repeat guests. Amos patiently helped us in selecting a route, advised on the best preparatory training schedule to be in the best shape for the attempt.
The actual trek is a journey that will be etched in mind for a long time. We started off with our guides Joseph and Chepa and the other crew that consisted of porters, chef and waiter.
The route is very scenic, though quite challenging because of the terrain and we took a shorter time to reach the summit. It was all free climbing, just putting one foot a head of the other however it got difficult the higher we went. The low oxygen and the cold at the high altitude gets you. That's point where one appreciates having an excellent crew supporting them, because there were many times when I wanted to turn back. Encouragement and advice from Joseph and Chepa played a huge part in our successful summit attempt. Because we could not have found our way in dark on the summit night.
We were very happy to have chosen Migration Venture Africa because they did not compromise our safety and comfort at any time. The tents were spacious and sturdy, sleeping bags warm and clean. Our chef made us very delicious meals and also ensured that we were well hydrated. There were regular health checks to check our vitals in the morning and evenings.
When I compare the quality of support that we had with that of the other climbers I can say that we had the premier treatment. I am very grateful to Amos and the other members of his team for a job well done.

Migration Venture Africa is the best in the business - Kilimanjaro had been in our dreams and plans for the longest time, but somehow, we kept pushing it back. Luckily, last year we met with Amos at the Berlin Tourism Fair. He worked with us and we have finally conquered the tallest force of nature in Africa!
Preparation was easy because Amos was just a message away and he's a tough cookie for not getting irked by my numerous messages.
We found the climbing team waiting for us and were happy to meet Epa our guide and the rest of the climbing crew. They are wonderful people, that are very experienced in mountain trekking, good energy and oozing positive vibes.
We found the Machame Route tough, the terrain and habitat keeps changing as one gets higher, leading to amazing views as the weather was very good.
We had great sleeping tents, a large common tent where we had our meals, a portable toilet, a fully kitted first aid box and many other things that made our trek special.
We reached the summit, beat but in very good spirits. It was a great achivement that for a moment took away all the pain and fatigue.
I will forever cherish the support and friendly connection that I got from Migaration Venture Africa

See this majestic mountain with an awesome company Migration Venture! - It was a remarkable experience. Mt Kilimanjaro didn't disappoint!!! Breathtaking! Engaged us fully on physical, psychological and emotional level. Fantastic guides (Rama and Eman) and their support crew. My girlfriend and I were looked after utterly. Amos and his company will definitely take care of all your needs. I recommend Migration Venture not only because it is a great company but also because you are supporting local people.

Best experience in my life - The best experience in my life so far, sourrouded by people I cannot think about without tears in my eyes.
Kim, Emmanuel, Shaban, Joseph and the whole team made this experience unforgettable for us. We wouldn’t make it without these brave, careful, and strong men.
The team of Migration Venture Africa took really good care of us, always listening to our needs and they did their best to help us reach the summit and acclimatize. And WE MADE IT! One dream, one team.
Our guide, Eliakim Mbwambo has been here for us from start to end. Always smiling, listening, explaining, and checking our vitals to make sure we enjoy the climb without any danger for our health.

Quiet atop the Roof of Africa - Climbing Kilimanjaro has always been on my bucket list. This August, with the help of Amos and the "Migration Venture Africa" team, our guides Rama and David, the chef and porters who worked tirelessly for 6 days - my friend and I successfully summited Uhuru Peak. Machame route with amazing stuff that I can call friends - With Migration Venture Africa I’ve successfully climbed the machame route at Kilimanjaro only because of the help of my guide that support me mentally and physically. The other stuff was amazing too with making everything possible. The food was amazing and the chef always waited us with hot drinks so we can warm ourselves.
I highly recommend this company and their employees.

Best experience ever!! Highly Recommend!!! - We spent two weeks with Migration Venture Africa and successfully climbed Kilimanjaro followed by a safari to Tarangire and Ngorongoro. Before we arrived all communication was handled by Amos who was extremely communicative and very timely. I felt very comfortable through the booking process. From the moment we were picked up at the airport (by Issa) we felt relaxed and comfortable from the folks at Migration. We got to the hotel and they had everything we needed. It was a simple accommodation but has everything you need - hot shower, breakfast included, lunch, dinner, beers, and attendants nearby waiting to help with anything you need. They helped up get around town (drove us themselves) and helped us with a couple extra tours we did.
The Kilimanjaro climb was incredible! Our group was only myself and my wife. For just the two of us we had 2 guides, 1 cook, 8 porters. We felt like part of a family with how welcoming all the porters and the group was. They were always encouraging and smiling and made the climb such a great experience. Our guides Siza and Vitalis were experts. They knew the perfect pace for us and were very attentive to our needs. On summit day they actually carried our packs and we all made it to the top! Such a personalized and custom experience.
There were other groups on the mountain with up to 20 climbers and a huge operation of guides, porters, etc... I was so glad I didn't sign up with one of those big groups - I cant imagine their climb was as special and as customized as ours.
After the climb we relaxed for a day then were off to safari. Our safari guide was so welcoming and funny too. It was again only myself and my wife on the tour which made it extra special. The accommodations at night were incredible. We stayed at such a nice place and wished we could have stayed more.
In all I am so glad we booked with Migration Venture Africa and I highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a reasonably priced, accommodating, and successful tour. We felt like family there and hope we can return some day!

Amazing climb - Just completed the machame route, originally booked for 7 days/6 nights. Our guides Goodluck and Vitto were amazing, so supportive and wouldn’t have managed the to get to the summit without them. The food was amazing the whole time and we even got our own waiter/Porter Nasorro made every day special and our tent feel like home. Cannot recommend this company enough.

Highly recommended operator - Kilimanjaro trekking with Migration Venture was recommended by a former classmate and I happy that I listened to her advice.
Every little detail of our six day’s Machame route climb was meticulously planned by Amos and his reservations team then perfectly carried out by senior mountain guide Epa and Vitalis his assistant. The climbing equipment was top of the range and in mint condition, tents kept us warm on the coldest nights, mats & sleeping bags comfortable to lie on. We had many great moments and nice surprises during the climb, as we clambered through different vegetation, there were few animals, mainly monkeys but lots of birds which I loved. We had great weather during the trek and it was great to reach the summit.
I would not hesitate to recommend Migration Venture to other climbers.
