Kilimanjaro trekking and safari tours - You're so good. We sold a lot of goods in order to find reasonable prices and high service and did both hiking and safari in Kilimanjaro in Monkey. There was a bit of trouble at the press conference, but we met with a good guide and members, adapted well, and the spelling of the certificate was incorrectly corrected, and we took care of it to the end and gave feedback. The hotel was also satisfied and in the middle we left glasses in the hostel, and the contact came to find us. Thank you for making my first trip to Africa a pleasant and happy memory.

Trip of a lifetime - Mount Kilimanjaro Climb - Booked to go with my daughter and had the most amazing experience. Apart from the unforgettable climb, scenery and wildlife the team at Monkey Adventures couldn't have been more helpful. From the pre- trip up to the on mountain experience with our 2 brilliant guides; Nelson and Faustine. Encouraged and helped when it was definitely needed and gave us wonderful insight and knowledge throughout the 5 days. Highly recommend and this company, being local as well, were great!

Definitely use these guys - We just got back from the five day Kilimanjaro hike on the Marangu route. Our guides were amazing! The rest of the crew was also amazing. We had Tino and Samuel. I highly recommend going with them. All throughout our trip we saw other groups and it was clear that Monkey Adventures had the best crew. we made it all the way to the top, thanks to our guides who were really smart about how to pace us and were really careful about our health and safety. Amazing experience! I highly recommend going with these guys.

Kilimanjaro - Marangu Route November 22 - We just hiked the Kilimanjaro and it was certainly one of the most incredible experiences of our lives! We were so fortunate to go with Gasper and his team as a Guide. Not only was the level of professionalism amazing, but also the kindness and comfort his team gave us at any point! Therefore we can only highly recommend this trip and ask for Gasper and Eddy as your guides! You certainly won’t regret. :)

Experience of a Lifetime! - A bucket list trip, largely helped and organised by Monkey Adventures and their amazing group of employees and guides. 3 friends and I (2 travelling from Australia, 2 from Europe) went to Tanzania on a whirlwind trip, 12 days in one of the most amazingly diverse countries in the world. Leah who we emailed with helped every step of the way with our questions, changing schedules of safari/hike requests, accomodation and transfers options, and fluid payments options, which all happened very last minute, and considering we were organising and paying from opposite sides of the world she helped massively, thanks a lot Leah!! We did a 2 day Safari to Tarangire/ Ngorongoro crater national parks with our excellent guide Kissali, Kissali was super knowledgeable about the landside we drove past before the parks, stopped by a Maasai tribe to show us how they lived, and gave us an amazing personal tour through 2 breathtaking national parks, with just 4 of us the large Landcruiser 4x4 it gave us all un obstructed views of everything we saw, and we pretty much saw every animal possible, Kissali has eyesight like an eagle and was helpful with all of our requests! The food along the safari was amazing, particularly the buffet dinner at the lodge. Now the hike, Mt Kilimanjaro was why we planned this trip, we met our world class guides Rama and Mohamed the morning of the first day in Moshi, absolute legends and by the end of the hike like ours brothers, they checked our gear, we then rented some further items, there was a great selection from the rental store, and then started towards the mountain, we traveled with some of our other crew, notably the ever smiling champ/waiter Yunusu and Chef extraordinaire Christian, who joked with us and answered some of our nervous questions and kept the mood high, this was the biggest plus for our group, we are 4 x 30 year old men who like to have fun on our adventures, even ones as serious as this, and led by Rama and Mohamed our vibes/mood were always the best, from the first day where we were overconfident and going too fast, to the morning of the summit when we were all anxious, they kept our minds strong to the task, while answering all of our questions, laughing together over dumb jokes, educating us about life in tanzania and the mountain. Our biggest thanks again to Rama and Mohamed, and the whole crew of superstar porters, they were truly a large part of our unforgettable Tanzanian experience, a large part of our success climbing the mountain and part of memories and stories we will have and tell forever!! You won't go wrong booking your trip with Monkey Adventures!!

Started as acquaintances, left as friends - Our experience with Monkey Adventures will never be forgotten and this was a once in a lifetime experience. From the very beginning, they were quick to respond and concise. Our booking experience was flawless. Everything we needed to know before our trip was laid out and explained before hand and we felt completely comfortable going into this trip and knew we were in good hands. They provided everything we needed including transport from the airport to the hotel, hotel to the start of Kilimanjaro at the Maranju route and back to our hotel at the conclusion of our trek. Kije our guide came the day beforehand and discussed the details of our trek and made sure we had all the supplies and gear we needed. Kije and Sanka were our two guides and would brief us each day on what the next day would like, what gear we would need and how we should dress or what we should expect. They were very concise and thorough. We stayed in the huts on the Maranju route which were very nice and more than we ever expected. They even had running water, electricity, and toilets at some of the huts. Our food and cook were amazing, we could not have asked for better food. If anything we got too much food. Abu was another porter for us who we became very close with and adored. He would bring us hot water for tea/coffee every morning. He would serve us each meal and would serve us tea throughout the day after our long hikes. He was incredible and very polite. All of the porters were amazing and took good care of our bags while hiking. There was never any worry or concern our bags wouldn't make it or would be damaged. Overall the entire experience was amazing and our only suggestion was to decrease the portion size of our meals as we had too much food. It truly was incredible, the entire experience. We started as acquaintances and left as friends. At the conclusion of our trek, they even took us to a local souvenir shop in Moshi to help us find deals on certain souvenirs we wanted. They treated as more than people they were hiking with or leading. They treated us as friends. I would recommend Monkey adventures to anyone looking to hike Kilimanjaro, especially the Maranju route in 5 days, staying in the huts. Our entire experience was flawless and they made it truly special.

Excellent trek - ask for Brighton & Allen as guides! - My fiancé and I did the 5-day Marangu Route trek in October 2021 and we cannot say enough good things about our guides and Monkey Adventures. Before we booked our trek, when I was just researching trek operators, Monkey Adventures promptly and professionally answered all of my emails. They also made sure that all of my questions were answered in each email (and I assure you, I had a lot of questions in each email). They also made things easy for us by arranging an airport transfer to our hotel in Moshi, and booking our hotel for the nights before and after our trek. I felt like we were in good hands before we even got there - and that trend only continued! Our senior guide for the trek was Brighton and our assistant guide was Allen - they were both excellent. Neither me nor my fiancé had any "real" hiking experience before our climb, nor had we ever been at an elevation close to as high. Despite all of that, Brighton and Allen successfully got us to summit, and they made us feel safe and comfortable all the while. Beginning the day before our trek, they met us at our hotel in Moshi to give us a briefing and looked over our equipment to make sure that we had everything we needed. They were extremely knowledgeable and happily answered all of our (again, many) questions. My fiancé and I always say that we would still be on that mountain if not for Brighton and Allen. I can't even begin to name all the ways that they helped us. On summit night, my fiancé was struggling and considering turning around at several points, but Brighton and Allen provided enthusiastic encouragement in all the right ways at all the right times, knew exactly when we needed to take breaks, and when it was best to keep going. Not only did they provide the moral support we needed, they literally carried my fiancé's daypack for him when they realized how much he was struggling AND they gave him one of their headlamps because my fiancé's stopped working (meaning that one of them was walking in the dark instead of my fiancé). THEN, as if that wasn't heroic enough, when I was hesitant and sacred about descending Kibo Peak, they each took one of my arms and more or less skied me down the mountain so that I wouldn't be afraid and/or take a million years making my hesitant-decent (like I said, we would almost definitely still be there if not for Brighton and Allen). These guys are honestly heroes. They were also very personable and had great senses of humor - it was a pleasure to be hiking with them for five days. Do yourself a favor, if you are looking for a good trek operator at a great price - book Monkey Adventures and ask for Brighton and Allen!

Monkey Adventures is a must - Really great company that tries their hardest to please the customer and provide them with a memorable experience. I highly recommend reaching out to them if you’re considering climbing Kilimanjaro. The prices are among the best in the industry from what I’ve seen after doing some research and everyone involved in my climb helped to make it a smooth and enjoyable process. My guides were Kija and Zefania and both helped push me to reach the summit with their knowledge of the mountain and personable encouragement.

Brilliant company to travel with, at reasonable rates - Overall great experience. The crew were friendly and helpful. Kijaji and Zefania were very informative on the nature of Kilimanjaro and kept us going Pole Pole so that we made it to the summit. Whilst experiencing a few few symptoms of altitude sickness, they were great at motivating us. Was well fed the entire journey.
