Dhow excursion - Excursion on a typical Zanzibar boat with time for snorkeling, visit to the CVV sandbank, bathing in the Blue Lagoon. Lunch on Kwale Island is on the beach, completely typical and relaxing. On the island there are numerous stores selling clothing and decoration where you can haggle for souvenirs to bring back... On the way back, in the late afternoon, the trip was made under sail.

Nakupenda tour - I bought the day tour visiting Prison Island and Nakupenda beach with the tour guide Ali! I had a blast learning about culture, seeing the land, eating fresh food, and snorkeling! Ali was so nice, he guided me around and took pictures of everything and anything I wanted. I went alone and he made me feel safe guarding my belongings while I swam and translating with locals! I highly recommend Ali

Lovely day trip - This was a lovely day out and Ismail who guided us was fantastic and obviously really enjoyed his job. There was a chilled, relaxed feel to the trip and the seafood lunch was amazing. It’s a full day in the sun so take a top to cover your shoulders, plenty of sunscreen and waterproof shoes.

Paradisiac - Great trip starting with snorkeling in an incredibly beautiful spot, then fruit tasting on a sandy islet, excellent seafood lunch and swimming in the lagoon. We recommend it!

Best guide tour in ZNZ - Excellent and funny tour guide. We had a very good experience with Ismail. Do not hesitate to book activities around the island with him. The price is also affordable.

Quite an adventure! - The departure was quite hectic, you need to walk hundreds of meters through the shallow water, and boarding the dhow is not easy. After this, everything was great:the guide, the food, the adventure. But I would not recommend this trip to people with physical problems, neither for rough see conditions.

Unsafe and unreliable tour - I booked this experience for my friend and I. We were not picked up until 0830. There were no towels provided, so we had to borrow some from the hotel, which cause us to wait. We arrive at Fumba and had to wait again. Finally our guide took us to get fitted for our snorkel gear. Then the guide tells us we have to walk down the beach to get to the boat. I asked if the boat was coming to the shore. It happened to be low tide. I was told we had to walk to the boat. Once we were two feet deep in the ocean, I asked for another option because this was not it. A smaller boat was nearby and that captain picked us up. There was no ladder for us to climb into the boat. Once we got to the dhow, there were already people on the boat. At least 20, including crew. There was no ladder to climb onboard the dhow either. There were not enough lifejackets in the smaller boat for all passengers and crew. It was 8 of us. This is a poorly organized tour from the beginning. My safety is always my top priority so I refused to board and asked for another dhow as I was told it would be four of us plus the guide. This description states 15 max. How did they expect me to get on a dhow, no safety equipment that is overcrowded? I would not recommend this tour.

Stay away! Awful experience from provider and Viator! - Terrible experience from booking thru final contact. No confirmation from provider who apparently showed up 2 hours late after I had made other arrangements for the day and Viator is unwilling to offer a refund even after providing proof!( shame on them!) and would not advise anyone to book this tour at all!
