Memorable experience - The experience wouldn't have been the same without the dream team from monkey adventures! Everyone's positivity made the hardships feel easy! Eli and Dee are the best guides we couldn't imagine summitting without their support. They were also very accommodating and flexible with our needs. Thank you monkey team! One team - one dream!

Once in a lifetime experience - Excellent experience from start to finish. We originally booked for three but two weeks before one had to drop out. Their refund was processed quickly without any fuss. The pick up from the airport was seamless. Our guides, Derek and Godfrey, met us at our hotel the day before departure for a brief, checked our kit and rented sleeping bags for us. Derek, Godfrey and all the team were fantastic all week, always positive and supportive but taking genuine care for us too. The chef worked wonders too - plenty of food with good variety and very tasty. Thank you Monkey Adventures!

Great Experience with Monkey Adventures - Great Experience on the mountain! Lazaro and his guides took great care of us on our trek. Many of us suffered from altitude sickness but the guides were quick to care for us. Great experience, surprisingly good food, nice equipment and gear, and the guides were great to hang around with. Airport transit and our hotel (Parkview Inn) both went off without a hitch. Great company, great guides and crew!

First Class Kilimanjaro Experience with Monkey Adventures - I was impressed with the professionalism and the courtesy of everyone on the Monkey Adventure team. From the guides to the cooks, our team of 13 was well supported every step of the way to our summit on 10/12/2024. I gladly recommend their services to anyone considering a Kilimanjaro experience.

Favorite route - The Lemosho Route is often considered one of the best routes for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro for several reasons: 1. Acclimatization: The Lemosho Route is a longer and more gradual trek to the summit, which allows climbers more time to properly acclimatize to the increasing altitude. This helps reduce the risk of altitude sickness compared to shorter, steeper routes. 2. Scenic Beauty: The Lemosho Route approaches Kilimanjaro from the western side, providing stunning views of the mountain's glaciers, rainforests, and alpine landscapes that are not seen on other routes. It is considered one of the most scenic and beautiful routes up the mountain.

An amazing team, smart, thorough, and reliable - We took the 9 day Northern Circuit route. Somehow, we (my husband and I) were the only people in our group and had a 10-person team. We had the absolute best team, and they were attentive to our safety and needs the entire way. The food was prepared fresh for us at each meal and was served hot and delicious. Our guides, Daniel and Ireen, were not only knowledgable, but kind and accommodating. At summit, I needed to be carried down due to altitude sickness and I could not have relied on better people with my health and safety. They were truly amazing, and I would recommend them 10 times over.

Amazing!!! - What an amazing experience. I had the best time. Our guide led by Derek were fantastic. There is no way I would have completed the climb without his and the teams support. Their support, kindness and camaraderie enabled all of us in the group to complete our once in a life time experience. Thanks goes out to all the team (made up of 47 people), a special thanks goes out to the unsung heroes - the porters, I will remain in complete awe of you all. To the chef, your mango salad has become legendary. A special thanks goes to our guides lead by Derek - Shafi, Humphrey, Godfrey, Hussain, Fadhil and Nicholas. Even at times when I wanted to give up, you provided me with the strength and courage to keep going. You will always be remembered. Thank you.

Such an amazing experience for a great deal! - Such an amazing experience for a great deal! My friends and I from the USA did the 8 day Lemosho trek this past August and had the best time ever! Our guides made every step of the process enjoyable, informative, and rewarding. I was especially impressed by the guides knowledge of the local ecology and wildlife! In addition to the guides, the whole crew was friendly and all clearly wanted our group to have the best time possible! I actually really enjoyed the food on the hike as it kept us fueled and energized for the hike! I really got a family environment during the trek which I am not sure every other company provides. Our guides even took us out to a local restaurant in Moshi after we finished to celebrate!

Amazing!! - It was an amazing experience and made special with the support and help of Monkey Adventures. Our tour guides: Derek, Hussain, Shafi, Humphrey, Godfrey, Fadil and Nicholas were fully supportive and encouraging throughout the trip. Nothing was ever an issue and the motivation to get to the summit never stopped. I don’t think we could have completed the trip without you. Another mention has to be given to the wider team (47 members in total) that were behind the scenes, carrying our equipment/bags and on a daily basis ensured our tents were up, water boiled, food on the table and so on… So a HUGE thank you to you all for making it a very special and memorable journey.
