Upon reaching the Ngorongoro Crater gate, all registrations and park formalities will be completed before descending 600m (2,000ft) into the crater for exceptional game viewing.

Today, its flat floor is covered in nutritious grasses and is home to over 120 mammal species, including the renowned Big Five. Mto wa Mbu - After an exhilarating day, guests will enjoy a picnic lunch by the park’s famous hippo pool before visiting a Maasai family to experience their culture.
At the village, visitors will witness many traditional aspects of Maasai life and see how the Maasai adapt to development and modern civilization. All visits are organized by the Maasai themselves; they will showcase their traditional dance and singing, various types of Maasai houses, traditional beads, fire-making, ornaments, bush techniques & medicine, and guests can also walk with their cattle on the plains. Later in the evening, guests will return to their hotel in Arusha or Moshi town. -
Lake Manyara National Park - Situated 125 km west of Arusha town, nestled by the Great Rift Valley wall, Lake Manyara National Park is one of East Africa’s oldest and most popular sanctuaries. The park boasts a diverse range of habitats, supporting a rich variety of wildlife within its compact area. The main habitats include the shallow soda lake, which covers 77% of the park’s total area of 330 sq. km, the groundwater forest, open grassland, acacia woodland, and the rift wall.
The park’s most famous attraction is the tree-climbing lions, occasionally seen perched on acacia tree branches. Other animals in the park include buffalo, elephants, leopards, baboons, impala, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, ostrich, and hippos. Known as an ornithologist’s paradise, Lake Manyara National Park is home to over 400 bird species found in most savanna and river habitats in East Africa. The tour concludes with a 2-hour drive back to Arusha.
