Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Arusha at approximately 07:30 am and travel on a paved road for 120 km (2 hours) to reach Tarangire National Park. This park is home to unique dry-country antelope, including the rare fringe-eared oryx and the unusual, long-necked gerenuk. The southern swampy areas of the park provide excellent wildlife viewing opportunities, featuring wallowing elephants and buffalo, the Silale Swamp lion pride, and occasionally wild dogs. Large pythons may also be spotted in trees as the swamps dry up. Lunch will be enjoyed at a picnic site, followed by game drives until check-out time. After the game drives, guests will proceed to the camp for an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater - Distance: 190km, ETA: 3 hours

Following an early morning breakfast, guests will travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. The crater, measuring 19.2 km in diameter, 610 m deep, and covering 304 sq km, is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas globally and is home to some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. Its large population of predators is another major attraction of this stunning crater. With a constant water supply and ample fodder, this magnificent oasis offers a sanctuary for both predators and prey to thrive among the grasslands. After the game drives, guests will return to Arusha for a drop-off at around 5 pm.
