Safari Soles Tours! The best safari company. - We went to Tanigire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro nation park for safari. The guide Derick is very nice and helpful. Took us to find all the big 5 and see the mara river crossing as well. The trip was perfect and make it one of the best time in my life.

Wildlife Wonders of Tanzania: A Safari to Remember - Just coming off a 7-day safari itinerary with Safari Soles and experiencing the culture mix, heartfelt hospitality, majestic wildlife, and varied natural ecosystems expanding through Tarangire, Lake Manyara, Serengeti, and Ngorongoro Crater firsthand has been truly surreal! First off, our safari wouldn't have been possible without our All-Star safari guide, Raymond. His welcoming presence and expertise to navigate through the different national parks (rain or shine, day or night) while patiently answering our curiosity-based Qs (wildlife and beyond) were truly appreciated! He's great with animal spotting, which includes places to swift through to find the desired animals while deciding in a moment to quickly leapfrog past other safari cars where the animal is headed to have THE BEST spot to photograph or film. With Raymond's can-do attitude and guidance, we saw the Big 5 (even the rare leopard and black rhino), witnessed wildebeest migration, pride of lions crossing the endless plains of Serengeti, volt of vultures feasting on an animal leftover, majestic elephant herds, and much more. Raymond's truly a SAFARI CAPTAIN! We came to Tanzania with the expectation of having a fun-filled safari trip but were surprised to experience the luxury accommodations spanning across our lodges and glamping tents! It was a thrill every night to hear nature come to life, and in a few instances having hippos, wild buffaloes, or a lioness taking a stroll right next to our tents; nothing to worry about given adequate safety measures are taken by all these accommodation places. Top it off with lip-smacking food options, and you've got a lodging scene that lets you rest well and feel refreshed for the next day. Finally, a huge shout-out to the rest of the Safari Soles team! From the first moments of planning, Julius, our booking coordinator, helped us put together a custom safari itinerary and was receptive to all the changes we requested. He was extremely responsive (especially important given the time difference between the USA and Tanzania) and always helped answer our queries. Upon arrival, our transfer guide, Baltazar, gave us a wonderful welcome to Tanzania, telling us all about Tanzania's history and the local culture and teaching us basic Swahili to get us started. He took us around Arusha for a city tour, which included the Tanzanite experience, local art galleries, cafés, and Maasai market visits, and we wrapped up our day with Mt. Kilimanjaro and Mt. Meru's striking views. To say our safari was amazing is a severe understatement. Our hearts are full, and for that, Asante Sana to the entire crew at Safari Soles and Kwaheri for now!

Great Family Experience - The best family experience. We got to see sooo much wildlife alongside having an absolutely brilliant guide: Florid, who was so knowledgeable, friendly and wonderful at animal spotting and really enhanced the family experience. Florid was an amazing guide and we would throughly recommend him. Lots of communication pre travel, with all our questions being answered by Safari Soles. Smooth pick up from our hotel in Stonetown to the airport and our main cases kept for us, as we didn’t want to take all our luggage on safari with us. Pick up was easy once we arrived in Tanzania and we started with lunch and introductions before we headed off on our tour… within minutes we had seen hippos and crocodiles! We were fortunate to see the great wilder beast migration and a river crossing alongside every animal you would expect. All accusations booked were suited to our family needs and ranged from the more basic camps to luxury with 2 private pools and views of lake Manyara. Food and drinks plentiful and delicious. Top tips: Take head torches Wipe clean bags Expect to leave approximately $10 per person at each safari hotel/lodge. $20 per person per day on a private safari tour to the guide. Dark socks; white ones look disgusting in a few mins as you will take your shoes off to stand on seats for a better view Take sweets: to enjoy on the long drives and especially if you are going to a masi village for the children and expect to pay additional monies for “homemade items” that you are expected to buy… and barter… expect to pay half of the original quote! Barter…. Everywhere… it’s expected.

Amazing Unforrgetable Safari Trip - Professional, Friendly, Responsible These three words immediately come to mind when talking about the Tanzania trip provided by Safari Soles. The trip coordinator, Douglas, and our guide, Godlisten, were incredibly responsive and efficient in meeting our needs from start to finish. They took a friendly interest in our experience, offered professional and well-designed itineraries, and selected the best accommodations and dining options for us. We had an incredibly happy and unforgettable time in Tanzania, largely thanks to Douglas and Godlisten. I wholeheartedly recommend them to everyone!

A fabulous lifelong memory, thank you Safari Soles! - "Where should I start for this review? "-I've been thinking about this while I was on my way back yesterday, and I really don't want this journey to be end...... Now, I am sitting at home, sorting the pictures and videos I took during safari, and tons of memories flooding to me. Here is the story: When I had an immature idea about doing safari in Kenya and Tanzania, I started explore all different kinds of tours listed on Safaribooking's website, and this was the first time Safari Soles came into my sight. I listed 30+ safari tour operators whose ratings are all above 4.9/5.0 and sent emails to all of them regarding the tour plans and quotes. Among them, it is the Douglas whose reponse is the one that impressed me most: very responsive, responsible, scrupulous, professional and kind. The itinerary and quote are well organized and totally satisfy my expectation for safari. After a couple of emails, I decided to choose Safari Soles, which turns out to be the best decision I've made for travelling in recent years. The hotel and lodge arrangement are all perfect, the facilities and meals provided there are superb. Thank you Douglas, for organizing such a wounder tour for us! The first day we arrived at Kilimanjaro Airport, Safaris Soles arranged a driver Frank to pick me and my friend Yihan. Frank is a very nice and warm person, who always wear a smile on face. On our way to the Arusha town, Frank kindly tell us things about the upcoming Safari tours, Arusha town, Tanzania and so on. The most important is that I Iearned the phrase"Hakuna Matata" (means no worries/carefree/take it easy) from him, which you will probably hear all the time through the journey because the local people says this a lot. This phrase has now become my motto, for everyone who reads this review: Hakuna Matata! Our Safari trips started on the second day, when we met our tour guide in the early morning: Godlisten! I still can't believe the tour has ended now while I am typing your name. Godlisten is a very experienced, professional, kind, and respectable person. Together with him, we visited Tarangire NP, Central/Western Serengeti NP and Ngorongoro crater, and we saw a lot of animals: lions, elephants, giraffes, hippos, zebras, hyenas, crocodiles, wilderbeests, bufflos, gazelles, a lot of different kinds of birds and so many others...... He told us the stories about the animals we saw and the places we travelled. He is a person who deeply love this country, this land and the people who lives here. He shared a lot of stories about the local people and this country. He wish more people can come here and visit this beautiful country, to experience and to know the real Tanzania. I fully appreciated this and am willing to share my experience to more people. More than a tour guide, he is a care and responsibel husband and a father of three kids. I often noticed that, when we finish the safari and back to the lodge, he made calls to his wife about the family stuffs and the learning progress of the kids. My best wishes to you and your families, I hope one day your kids will be able to pursue their study in China! All the best! On the last day of this tour, Safari Soles arraned a driver Chief to take us to do a hiking in Kilimanjaro mountain, where we saw the Materuni waterfall, explored the local viliage Materuni and had a coffee-tour. Chief is very warm, nice and professional, who helped us carry stuffs, take pictures, share stories about local people and the new and first ever female president in Tanzania: Samia. We had a wonderful lunch at the Materuni viliage to taste the authentic local meal, which is very very delicious! I missing it now while I am typing this...... One fun thing is that we watched and learned how coffee was made in Materuni villiage. We are involved in the coffee-making process and made the coffee by ourselves! Every story has an end, so as this one. I wish I could stay there longer and explore more...... Instead of seeing it as a end, I am willing to take it as a start for the rest of many tours I will have in Tanzania in the future. Like Godlisten told to us while we finishing our safaris: "here, we don't say goodbye, we say welcome back!". Yes, I will be back! Thank you Safari Soles, Douglas, Godlisten, Frank, Chief, the staffs of the all the stays, and everyone else who are part of this journey. Thank you all so much for everything you have done for us, we couldn't have all of these wonderful memories without your help! We trully appreciated that! This is a lifelong memory......

Amazing Safari Trip! Thanks to Said our wonderful guide!!! - We booked a safari tour with Safari Soles for our honeymoon trip. Honestly, cannot recommend them enough. It was a pleasant experience from the booking process till the very end of our trip. During our Safari we had the most wonderful time, it is a one of a kind experience. The views are breathtaking and watching the wildlife in front of your eyes is a totally unique experience. The lodges were lovely and food was always exceptional. We have to also mention our wonderful guide Said. He made the experience even more wonderful. Apart from being really good at spotting animals and showing us around the parks he is a very lovely and kind person whose company we enjoyed very much!

Simon made the trip a 5 stars!!! - the best experience I could have had. It's not just about going on a Safari, it's about having a guide who knows the behavior of the animals so that one can see what we did: lions reproducing, attempted lion hunts, and the 5 animals! Simon is without a doubt the best guide we could have ever had, he has a unique energy and always made us feel safe. Tanzania marked my heart.

A must do - great safari guide and amazing agency experience - A must do! The safari experience surpassed our highest hopes and not just for the scenary and wildlife but because of our guide Raymond. Such a great personality, excellent safari guide with lots of info on the wildlife, nature, culture, food, history of the region. All in all, we were beyond happy and would recommend him as a safari guide. Soles tour company, we interacted only for our booking and Happiness was very quick to respond, made all the changes we requested possible, gave advice based on her experience. Accommodation was superb, we stayed in Sero Tented camp which is a "glamping" tent with excellent staff, amazing sunsets and sunrise views, comfortable "tents" with huge bed, shower with hot water and toilets. Other accommodation were basic tents but we're equally amazing because of where you are. Nothing beats the african starry night! Food - we had a cook traveling with us who was great. He would ask us our preferences, we preferences eating local food so he did that most days. Cooked enough food to feed an army! Was delicious, especially considering how remote some of the camps are. If you're looking for a company to go on a safari, I really recomed safari soles. And especially Raymond as a safari guide, as he made our experience even more amazing.

Far exceeded expectations - Tomorrow we will finish a seven day Safari, which has been absolutely amazing. Thanks to Renatus who was extremely helpful and quick to respond to any inquiries that we had. This trip would not have been so amazing without Freddie our extraordinary safari guide. Freddie was so knowledgable and so eager to please that we couldn’t have asked for a better Safari guide and we realize that the success of a trip really hinges on this person and how attentive they are to your needs. Freddie is the best! We can’t believe the amazing animals that we saw every day. There was a variety of hotel experiences that made the trip interesting. We also feel that we got good value for the price that we paid and we would highly recommend Safari Soles to any of our friends. Asante sana!
