Arusha - Lake Manyara National Park

Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Arusha at approximately 07:30 am and driven to Lake Manyara National Park (330 km²). This park features a vast yet shallow soda lake situated at the base of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The diverse habitat attracts a wide range of wildlife, including one of Africa’s largest elephant populations, Manyara’s distinctive tree-climbing lions, and large flocks of flamingos. Manyara is a picturesque treasure, with a landscape praised by Ernest Hemingway as “the loveliest I had seen in Africa.” From the entrance gate, along the roadside, blue monkeys dart gracefully between the ancient mahogany trees, delicate bushbucks move cautiously through the shadows, and oversized forest hornbills honk loudly in the high canopy. After the game drives, guests will proceed to the camp for an overnight stay.

Mto wa Mbu – Serengeti National Park

Following breakfast, guests will drive to the Serengeti (14,763 sq km or 5,700 sq miles) for game drives. As the day cools and the Serengeti sky is painted with red, gold, and orange hues, visitors may be surprised by the roar of a lion, a galloping giraffe, or the high-pitched giggling of hyenas fighting over a kill. Enjoy game drives until around sunset. Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater Rim

Early morning game drives in the Serengeti National Park. The Serengeti National Park is arguably the most magnificent wildlife sanctuary in the world. The park is renowned for the ‘Great Migration,’ when over one million wildebeest and more than two hundred thousand zebras annually follow the seasonal rains for lush pastures. Even without this mass migration, the Serengeti remains an impressive and captivating place that never fails to enthrall. Enjoy game drives until check-out time. Ngorongoro Crater - Mto wa Mbu

After an early morning breakfast, guests will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. The Ngorongoro Crater (19.2 km in diameter, 610 m deep, and 304 sq km) is one of the most densely populated wildlife areas in the world and is home to some of Tanzania’s last remaining black rhinos. Its large population of predators is another major attraction to this scenic crater. Supported by a year-round water supply and fodder, this stunning oasis provides a sanctuary for both predator and prey to coexist among grasslands. After the game drives, guests will drive to the camp for an overnight stay.

Tarangire National Park - Arusha

Tarangire National Park - Distance: 120km, ETA: 2 hours

Activities: Game Drives

After breakfast, guests will drive to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is home to some dry-country antelope, such as the rare fringe-eared oryx and the unique, long-necked gerenuk. The swampy areas in the south of the park offer intriguing wildlife viewing opportunities, including wallowing elephants and buffalo, the Silale Swamp lion pride, and occasionally wild dogs. Large pythons can sometimes be spotted in trees when the swamps are drying up. Lunch will be enjoyed at the picnic site, followed by game drives until check-out time. After the game drives, guests will return to Arusha for drop-off at around 5 pm.
