Day 01: Arusha to Serengeti National Park (335km – 5 hours)
Migration at Serengeti National Park - Depart from Arusha at 8:00 am and journey to the magnificent Serengeti National Park (14,763 sq km or 5,700 sq miles) with a picnic lunch.
Arrive around 3:00 pm and begin a game drive en route to Seronera campsite.

Serengeti National Park is home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, elands, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, and more. Numerous bird species, including Eurasian migrants, can also be spotted.
Enjoy dinner and an overnight stay at Serengeti Seronera Camp Site. (Upgrades to mid-range or luxury accommodation are available upon early request.)
Full Day at Serengeti National Park
Migration at Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, continue with both morning and afternoon game drives in Serengeti National Park.
This is a migration safari, and since the Serengeti is vast, game drives will follow the movement of the migrants. The guide is skilled at locating the herds.
In the Maasai language, Serengeti means endless plains. The central plains are home to carnivores like leopards, lions, hyenas, and cheetahs.
The park is famous for the annual migration of wildebeest and zebra between the Kenyan Mara and the Serengeti.
A variety of bird species can be observed, including eagles, ducks, geese, egrets, vultures, secretary birds, ibis, storks, herons, kites, pelicans, cranes, and guinea fowl.

Serengeti Hippo Pool - Even in the dry season, water is present in the Serengeti. One of the most notable watering holes is the hippo pool, fed by the Seronera River. It is located near the northwest border of this Tanzanian national park and is most easily accessed via the Ikoma entrance.
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater Rim
Ngorongoro Crater - Rise at 6:00 am for early morning game drives in Serengeti, returning to the campsite for breakfast at 9:00 am.

Ngorongoro Crater is the largest unbroken caldera in the world, covering an area of 260 kilometers and a depth of 610 meters.
The crater offers a protected habitat for thousands of mammals and birds. Spend the entire day on the crater floor observing lions, hyenas, wildebeests, zebras, black rhinoceroses, and many species of small antelopes.
The Ngorongoro Crater Conservation Area is situated between the Serengeti and Lake Manyara and is home to the renowned Ngorongoro Crater, the largest unbroken caldera in the world.
OPTION: Visit the Olduvai Gorge for an additional fee to explore the museum.
Ngorongoro Crater Floor to Arusha
Ngorongoro Crater - Start the day with an early breakfast, then at 7:30 am, drive to Ngorongoro Crater to descend into the crater floor for game drives.
All the Big Five—rhino, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant—reside in this remarkable caldera, along with zebras, hippos, wildebeests, hyenas, and more.
Birds include flamingos on the soda lake, geese, storks, vultures, and more. Enjoy a lunch break at Ngoitoktok spring picnic sites for an unforgettable experience.
After lunch, continue with game viewing while ascending the crater.
You will later be dropped off at a hotel or residence in Arusha.
