Arusha – Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - Begin the day early at 6:00 am, departing from Arusha. Travel to Serengeti National Park via the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a brief stop for breakfast in Karatu. As you drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoy a game drive along the way. Arrive at Serengeti National Park in the early afternoon and embark on a game drive until sunset. The Serengeti offers some of the most incredible wildlife viewing in Africa, with large herds of buffalo and wildebeests, groups of elephants and giraffes, eland, impala, Grant’s gazelle, lions, leopards, and more frequently seen. Dinner will be served at your chosen accommodation.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro

Serengeti National Park - Rise early for a game drive to experience the breathtaking sunrise over the Serengeti. The game drive continues until early afternoon. You may return to your accommodation for a hot lunch or opt for a packed lunch. Then, drive back through the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area, enjoying a game drive en route, spotting more lions, leopards, cheetahs, zebras, wildebeest, gazelles, and hyenas. Stay at your selected accommodation in the Ngorongoro Area. (Please note, if the SIMPLE LODGE option is chosen, this night will be spent CAMPING as there is no simple lodge standard accommodation available in the area. This is already accounted for in the SIMPLE LODGE accommodation plan rate).

Ngorongoro Crater to Arusha Town

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After breakfast, with a packed picnic lunch, depart for a game drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. A true paradise, the crater is teeming with wildlife that approaches closely to the vehicle. The crater floor is home to over 25,000 large mammals, including the remaining Black Rhinos, zebras, gnus, gazelles, buffalos, lions, hippos, elephants, elands, hyenas, and various aquatic birds. Explore the crater until late afternoon, then return to Arusha.
