Arrival Airport, Pickup and Transfer to Arusha

Arusha Region - Upon your arrival at either Kilimanjaro Airport or Arusha Airport, our representative will be there to welcome you. You will then be transferred to your accommodation in Arusha for an overnight stay.

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Tarangire National Park - After breakfast, you will meet an office representative and your tour guide for a briefing about your safari, then take 2 hours’ drive to Tarangire National Park. Along the way, you will take in the scenic views of the grassland plains speckled with the ancient baobab trees, nomadic people (Masai) in their colourful dress walking on the roadside, riding bicycles, herding cattle and driving donkeys’ carts and traditional Maasai houses.

Arrive Tarangire for full day game viewing. Tarangire National Park is known for – the famous ancient baobab trees, tree climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants, lions, leopards, cheetah.

After a picnic lunch in midday, you will resume your afternoon game drive.

Karatu - Drive from Tarangire to Karatu hotel for dinner and an overnight stay. You may pass by Masai Boma (Optional, can be arranged at extra cost).

Karatu to Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Conservation Area - After an early breakfast, you will drive to Ngorongoro Conservation area. Descend over 600 meters into the crater to view wildlife.

This collapsed volcano is the main feature of the area and creates a unique ecosystem with a wide variety of vegetation. Enjoy the beautiful colors of the landscapes and the diversity of animals. The crater is home to the highest concentration wildlife in Africa and is choked with elephants, lions, buffaloes, hippos and even the rare black rhino. This is one of the best places to spot all of the Big Five. The views from the crater rim over the crater floor are incredible.

In midday, you will have your lunch at the base of the crater.

In the afternoon we will ascend the crater and drive to the hotel situated on the crater rim for dinner and an overnight stay.

Ngorongoro to Serengeti National Park

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast you will drive to Serengeti National Park. This drive will take around six hours depending on the game on the way because sometimes there is a high concentration of game on the southern plains.

Serengeti is the best place for you to to spot the Big Five animals (lion, elephant, leopard, rhino, and buffalo).

You will stop for a picnic lunch on the way, and then, proceed with an afternoon game drive.

Later in the late afternoon drive to the hotel in Serengeti for dinner and an overnight stay

Serengeti National Park (Full Day)

Serengeti National Park - After breakfast, commence a game viewing excursion in Central Serengeti. Around 1:00 PM, break for lunch, then resume the afternoon game drive.

In the evening, return to your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.

Fly from Serengeti to Zanzibar (Stone Town)

Seronera - Following breakfast, you will be picked up from the hotel, embark on a game-viewing journey to Seronera Airstrip.

Catch an 11:30 AM flight to Zanzibar, landing at 02:30PM. Our Zanzibar Airport representative will transfer you to your Stone Town hotel for check-in.

Stone Town - Then, explore Stone Town with visits to the fruit market, cathedral, slave markets, sultan’s palace, Tip Tip’s House, Old Arabic Fort, Freddie Mercury House, Forodhani Park, and Zanzibar’s renowned doors.

Return to the hotel in the afternoon for dinner and overnight stay.

Zanzibar Excursions, and Later Transfer to the Beach Hotel

Jambo Spice Farm - After breakfast and pick up from the hotel, and drive to Kidichi for the spice tour. On this tour, you will see, feel and taste tropical fruits and spices. You will then enjoy your spicy lunch at around 12:00 pm.

Prison Island - Changuu Private Island - At around 01:00 pm we’ll board the dhow and sail towards Prison Island. There, you will see a prison built for “rebellious slaves”, giant Aldabra tortoises.

In the late afternoon, we’ll set sail back to Stone Town.

Nungwi Beach - Arrive stone town and you will be transferred to the Nungwi for overnight stay.

Pick up from Hotel and Transfer to Zanzibar Airport

Abeid Amani Karume International Airport - Depending on your departure flight schedule, you will be picked up from the hotel and transferred to Zanzibar International Airport to catch an international flight back home or to other destinations.
