Tarangire Nationalpark Tagestour - We took a day trip from Moshi to Tarangire National Park. We were able to see a lot of animals thanks to our very careful and informed driver/guide Willi, were always safe and had an unforgettable experience.

Once-in-a-lifetime experience - Were in the park from 9h to 15h. Had the best guide you can wish for. Innocent speaks perfect English (besides Swahili and Chagga) and knows literally everything about the flora & fauna in the park, as well as the history of the region. Picnic lunch with local home-cooked food which we picked up on our way from Arusha to Tarangire (2h30 jeep ride!) Had lunch surrounded by vervet monkeys who are in no way aggressive but very mischievous (they like stealing bananas). Giraffes, elephants, the sweet dwarf mungoose who live on top of termite hills, waterbucks, warthogs, zebras (outside the park), the superb starling, ostriches, guinea fowl, white-faced whistling duck, blue monkey, baboons AND we were so lucky to see lions (twice!) Unforgettable experience! A special thank you to our friendly and very patient guide Innocent who afterwards helped us find a great place to buy Maasai art. Would repeat it anytime!

Transformative ! I couple times I had to pinch myself to realize this is real ! The experience exceeded my expectations - This experience was breath taking and transformative. From the beginning - zipper pick up to drop off to our hotel ! Our guide Saïd took such good care of us ! He was so well rounded and answered all the questions we had ! He knew so many fun facts about all the animals which helped learn a lot . In addition our operator Filbert was so Patient and helpful with everything and anything we needed to make this experience smooth and enjoyable . We needed help figuring out how to get there and we went above and beyond to help with flights and accommodations in Arusha ! We can never thank him enough and his team’, without them this would not have been possible and so beautiful! I recommend this booking to everyone ! Only thing to know is that flights to Arusha or killimnjaro is not included. I thought this was not explicit enough on the trip advisor website for first timers :) Overall 10/10 experience !

Excellent service with affordable cost! - We had the best tour that worked with our tight schedule in Tanzania. I cannot press enough the excellent service that we got from it. Earnest picked up at the Kilimanjiaro airport, drove us to the park and dropped us off at our accommodation in Arusha. The lunch they provided is so delicious. We saw many animals in the park. We strongly recommend this tour to everyone who wants to see wildlife but cannot afford many days trip.

A perfect safari - The safari was just great. I have seen a lot of animals in their natural environment. Some of them were just a few meters from the car. To that I could see the 4 of the Big 5 that occur in this park. My tour guide Simon contributed significantly to this. He was always in contact with other safari tours and knew where exactly which animal was. And then it happened quickly and we went to the sighting sites! Great! Simon also had a camera with a telephoto lens. He had taken many beautiful photos and shared them with me. Simone was absolutely the best tour guide you could wish for!!! I can only recommend this safari! A perfect day! Thank you Simon!!!

Totally Awesome Daytrip - The day trip to Tangerine National Park was totally awesome. We saw a lot of wildlife including elephant, zebra, lions, ostrich, zebra, wildebeest and cheetah. Our guide, Rahab, was fantastic and taught us about the various plants and animals that we saw. Overall, the day trip was well worth the visit.

Great day and a great host - So, based on the few actual written reviews here we weren't quite sure what to expect. To sum it up: we had a great time. Our guide was Ernest from Safari Soles and he was lovely. He knew where to stop and where animals are. His keen eye actually help us spot several animals (like a python and a baboon) that we would have otherwise missed. Suggested accessories: bring a good camera with a good zoom. Dress lightly. You won't be hiking so any shoes will do. What's cool: there's a fridge with water and soft drinks in the car. The jeep also has a power socket so you can charge your accessories on the go. Be careful about: you'll be standing a lot (the jeep's top opens) to enjoy the scenery and take pictures, so be ready for that. Make sure you have some eye protection as the sand will blast into your face. The roads in the park are bad so you will get thrown around a lot. We started from a hotel in Arusha. It takes about to hours to get to the park. We picked up lunch on the way. You will have a short pause at the park entrance for the tickets to be purchased. We drove through about 1/3 of the park before we stopped at a picnic place. Ernest having experience brought food in steel containers. He explained that monkeys will nick (things from) lunch boxes and we've actually seen it happen to other tourists. He was also wary enough to close the jeep as monkeys will enter open ones. We had rice, potatoes, veggies (carrots, peas) and fish for lunch. It was lovely. Afterwards we headed across the river and saw the second third of the park. And then its back to the hotel. We were able to see zebras, elephants, lions, hogs, different gazellas, a python and some monkeys. Ernest was knowledgeable, being able to answer our questions and provide some interesting facts. Most of all he was patient with us stopping for any photo opportunity we requested. Overall, a lovely day.
