You’ll also see the Roman amphitheater and the altar of Ieron II. Next, head to Ortigia, an island with over 2,500 years of history, showcasing structures from the Greek and Roman eras, as well as Norman and medieval buildings, culminating in a stunning Baroque-style cathedral.
