Amazing - Walking around the top of mount Etna. The views were amazing and you felt like you were on Mars! I’m afraid of heights and it was a little high so be aware of that on your trip if it’s a thing for you too!

Etna tur - I had a fantastic experience at Etna. We were picked up by bus, and although the volcano had just had a strong eruption and many roads were closed, they still found an alternative route. 10/10.

Spectacular Mount Etna - Best part was standing between two craters on the ridge. Mind-blowing even without a serving of lava.

Amazing day - Seeing the orange and lemon orchards on the way and the contrast of the lunar type landscape on the mountain. Seeing the craters.

Mt Etna - The guide was very helpful and spoke 3 languages effortlessly. I think the only problem was being with a large bus there was a lot of waiting around. A smaller group would be better

Well worth it - Very well organised and friendly tour guide who gave all the important information on the journey to Mount Etna. Fascinating to see all the new lava from the eruption the day before.

Well organised high volume tour of Mt Etna - A great tour, efficiently run with a large group speaking three languages. First stop at Alcantara river was a nice break in a long journey with an option to go down to see riverside caves (extra cost). Etna ‘base camp’ was a surprise to find a string of uninspiring restaurants and tatty tourist shops in an awesome remote natural environment. There are options to hike or take a cable car and four wheel drive truck then hike up to the craters. Good commentary throughout. It’s amazing but do take sturdy footwear and a wind proof jacket. Very affordable and good value tour. Private tours also available if you want to avoid crowds.

Spoilt by broken down bus on return . An apology and an offer of a drink would be nice - Journey there and stay in Etna great. To return we were told that the bus would leave at 2.20pm. At 2.55pm told that there was a problem with bus. Told to get off bus as replacement with arrive at 4pm. Apparently not first time this has happened. An apology and an offer of a drink would have been appreciated.

Fustrating holiday trip - This was a very frustrating day. The 60 minute journey from Giardini-Naxos was doubled due to extended pick ups that were not advertised. Arriving late out your guide encouraged not to go to the top of the Etna (2900 m) due to queues as we were behind schedule. We we had already paid the full amount of €110 each BUT the tour guide was unable refund us. As a consequence to get our refund after the horrendous trip we had to remain on the bus, travel to travel company head office where our refund was reluctantly processed. Finally we incurred an extra €30 taxi to get home. We understand that nature can change but organisation shouldn’t.
