Wonderful experience! - We had the best day at Mount Etna, our guide Lorenzo was absolutely brilliant and so knowledgeable of the local area. We did pay the €78 extra per person to go to the top, definitely worth it on a clear day. This included cable car and 4x4 journey up, and 45 minute walk around two craters. It was incredible. Then we saw the lava cave and had a lovely food and flavours experience to end on. The whole thing was really relaxed, easy going with no rush to get back. Hotel pickups were communicated really well and made the entire experience stress free. Thankyou Etna Tribe and Lorenzo for a wonderful experience- would definitely reccommend! Sophie & Harry xx

Amazing trip to 2500 m to lava charter. - Amasing trip to 2500 m to lava chrater, with cable car, bus and 30 min. walking. Nice weather and very helpful and informative guide who bought tickets for us in the long cue before taken the cable car.

Amazing views of the volcano - Lorenzo was our guide and he was amazing! So informative and helpful! Would highly recommend! Views of volcano were great. It was very windy

Highly recommend this tour, a great day out! - Thanks to our friendly guide Tommaso we had the best day.
Pick up was 2 mins from our hotel in Taormina with clear instructions where and Tommaso was there waiting for us. We headed off to Mount Etna with a group of 6 people with Tommaso answering any questions on the drive up.
We chose the quad bike tour this was not for the faint hearted at times however we really enjoyed it and felt relaxed with the guides. Just to note this option doesn’t bring you up where the cable cars go it’s more around the lower area.
Tommaso then brought us down to taste some food and alcohol and then onto the tunnel.
Tommaso was very knowledgeable and gave us lots of information.
Overall it was a great day out. Thanks again Tommaso.

A memorable Mount Etna tour day ! - We were picked up on time and warmly welcomed by our guide for the day Giuseppe BARBAGALLO ( Peppe) . He provided first class service and knowledge and made our day amazingly fun. Our group agreed to go to the almost 3000 m viewing point of mount Etna, a must do once you’re there.
The food and wine tastings were delicious and in one case a “fire” drink .
Another part of this great day was descending into one volcanic cave.
Overall fabulous experience and interaction with mother nature and our good spirited guide Peppe.

Nice trip to Mt etna - Really good tour. Andrea was very communicative and ensured we got to mount Etna. We did the cable car and the 4x4 drive which had amazing views. The tasting was also good. The cave is just a 5 min stop but adds interest..We very happy we went on the tour and saw some of sicily .

An overpriced transfer to Etna... - This tour is basically a transfer from Taormina to Mt Etna with forced add ons in mt etna from their partnered companies. It's nice that the guide picks you up from the hotel but that's pretty much where the praise ends. Basically once you get to Mt Etna, you have to pay for ANOTHER excursion to explore Mt Etna or else you are in the visitor center for 2/3 hours without a guide. Instead of even saying that you can ride the cable car without a tour the guide basically only gives you 2 overpriced 2 options with other tour companies, an $80~ euro tour per person with the cable cars or a $65 ~ ATV ride. The guide recommended the best the ATV guide, saying you can see the most with it but basically you are in an incredibly bumpy ride with no seatbelts to the bushes of mount etna. You don't get to climb up or see anything. By the time the tour was done we did the wine tasting portion in a souvenir shop. While the wine / oils were good the portions were tiny and we got 10 minutes to see the crater and that was it.
The tour didnt do a good job at explaining wether or not we should bring lunch or what to expect until you book it. I felt a bit ripped off- for this price it should've included the excursion in Etna and was upset the tour guide highly recommended the ATV trip over the cable car since it was a terrible way to see some of the park.
My recommendation is to skip this excursion and either find just a mt etna transfer so you can walk around on your own time and not be ripped off by random tours, or do a different tour that has no add on costs. There was potential in this tour but this basically ruined our entire day.
