I decided to do the 3000 meter option and so glad I did!! The view is something spectacular and you will never forget this moment. Do it , feel it and enjoy it ! Outstanding - Amazing tour - great transport, the tour guide was outstanding and gave so much information - our daughter who is physics and chemistry student was so impressed with the wealth of knowledge our guide had - we had plenty of time to explore base camp and had an option of taking the cable car although we found exploring the immediate craters were enough - take some warm clothes and it can get extremely windy so a hood or hat is recommended - we would definitely book with this company again

Exactly what we were looking for! - This tour to Mt. Etna was exactly what we were looking for! The bus was punctual and comfortable, and Laura provided an informative tour during the ride to and from the mountain. The bus took us to Rifugio Sapienza, and we had about 2 hours to walk around the Silvestri craters on our own. (We were also provided the opportunity to take the cable cars up to the summit at an additional charge). The trip was punctual, and the perfect amount of time for a half day trip to Etna. It was also the most affordable tour to Etna that we could find. Highly recommend for a nice half day trip to the Silvestri Craters.

Great Tour, Terrific Guide - We were there in late September and the views were spectacular. We were driven 3/4 of the way to the top of the mountain and then were taken on a walking tour at that level. It can be chilly so be prepared. The guide took us around parts of the mountain and showed wonderful views and explained the volcano to us. even covered how Etna was different from the Hawaiian volcanos. Went around an inactive vent that was still hat and steamy. On the way down the bus stopped for two hikers that were up too high to get back safely in the light. Got some nice pictures even with the clouds that rolled in.

Such helpful people - We would firstly like to thank the staff at the office in Taormina for helping us find accommodation - It was the May Day weekend and also there was a music festival in Taormina which meant everywhere we tried was fully booked. Someone from the office even took us to the hotel. We had a great stay at the President Hotel Splendid. Thank you so much. We also had the half day trip to Mount Etna which was a great way to end our holiday. Everything went to plan and the guide (Alida) was excellent. My husband took the cable car the really enjoyed the guided tour and information. All in all, a great couple of days in Taormina and much of it thanks to Noema Viaggi.

The best view in Sicily - It's a trip to Etna. What's not to like. The tour guide Christie is very knowledgeable and the driver Sebastian deserves medals for navigating his coach up the road to Etna. The drive alone is an experience. Ensure you know what your are paying for though as the tour price does not include the cable car to take you to the next level on Etna and that is €50 per person. There's lots of cafes and shops at base camp. Dress appropriately. It's cold up there (0-10⁰ C). Wear proper shoes. Check Etna weather before you go.
