• Via Teatro Greco - The tour begins with pick up at your hotel, or at the cruise terminal of the port of Catania.
  We provide both cars and minivans depending on the request and the number of participants. The following tour is to be considered private.
  From Catania we will leave for Taormina (about 50 km), we will visit the Greek theater independently, on foot we will continue to Palazzo Corvaja, the belvedere, Corso Umberto with its characteristic streets full of typical shops and souvenirs. The tour continues towards Savoca about 20 km, a small perched village, where some scenes of the film “the godfather” by Francis Ford Coppola were shot. In this tour at the request of the customer you have the opportunity to visit Castelmola, a medieval town above Taormina, instead of Savoca.

If you find yourself in Catania, or if you disembark at the port from a cruise, you’re invited to join us for a memorable day trip that lasts 5 to 6 hours. A driver will pick you up from a location of your choosing, even if it is not on our standard pickup list. Your first stop will be the famous town of Savoca, which takes around an hour to reach. This town gained recognition when director Francis Ford Coppola selected it as a filming site for some scenes in the acclaimed, Oscar-winning movie The Godfather. You’ll make a stop at Bar Vitelli for a photo session, followed by a brief tour around the charming small town. We’ll continue onwards to Taormina - a captivating town known as the Mediterranean pearl, boasting its distinct Greek-Roman theatre (entry is not included), enticing back-streets adorned with souvenirs, bars and typical Sicilian clubs. The day ends with a return journey to Catania. Please note that this tour doesn’t include a tour guide, but you can hire one for an additional cost of €180.00 when you confirm your booking.
