Lovely tour with a friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable guide, highly recommended for a tour of the beautiful cities - Great tour with a super guide, we felt she was a friend showing us the history and beauty. Great time, views, knowledge, very welcoming and accommodating- we didn’t feel pressured and felt we had options to take the tour where we wanted at our own desired pace. Elena was a very great guide and the lunch was super local and artisanal. Such a fantastic way to get to know the history of the area. Highly recommend.

Great experience! - This tour was definitely the highlight of our trip! Marco did an amazing job, he was very patient and informative, a great guide! We had a Taormina tour, followed by an amazing traditional Sicilian lunch in Castelmola town. The lunch was delicious and we even tasted local wine. After lunch we had the opportunity to enjoy the stunning view from the castle and a walking tour of the town. We really recommend this tour and Marco as a guide!

Loved Elena!! - Elena was an excellent guide, quite knowledgeable and entertaining. Although born in Russia, she had lived in Sicily for 20 years and we had wonderful discussions about culture. We actually had her as our guide for two days.

Great tours begin with a great guide. - Our guide Maurizio was fantastic, very knowledgeable and provided a narrative that didn’t seem rehearsed. He related specific historical insights that were thoughtful and welcome.

Amazing Driver, Guide, Food and experience! - Our driver was prompt and the van very nice, clean, cool, and comfortable even with our large group of 7. Stefano was so great even took us to some other photo and sightseeing locations on the island and explained so much to us during the drive! Rosie was our guide in the village and she was great! Showed us so many hidden places in Taormina and was so knowledgeable! She adjusted to our needs as we wanted to do some shopping as well. The food and wine tasting was great with cheeses, meats, pasta, and even choice of wines. A+++

A Mixed Experience in Sicily, Taormina, and Castelmola - Our trip to Sicily, Taormina, and Castelmola had some great moments, and we would love to return to explore more. The food and shopping were definitely the highlights, with an incredible variety of local specialties and unique finds.
However, there were a few disappointments that marred the experience. Unfortunately, our tour guide didn’t select the restaurant for us, leaving us overwhelmed by the numerous options. In a place known for its exceptional cuisine, the guide should have picked the best of the best. As Italians are known for their high standards when it comes to food, this felt like a missed opportunity. I hope the tour company reads this and considers making the necessary changes.
For the cost of the tour, we also expected better transportation. The car provided was small and filthy, far from the level of comfort we anticipated. Given the price, a Mercedes van would have been more appropriate.
While the driver was knowledgeable, he wasn’t particularly helpful when it came to assisting older members of our group, especially with navigating stairs. Instead, he spent too much time chatting with shopkeepers. This was in stark contrast to our other drivers, who were all very compassionate and attentive.
Overall, we had a good time, but these issues took away from what could have been an amazing experience. We hope the tour company makes improvements for future guests.

Disappointing! - We had planned a visit that started in Toarmina and via Castelmola, where lunch was provided, ending in Naxos, where we had the freedom to extend it if necessary. In practice, however, we first visited Castelmola, after which, after some insistence on our part, we ended up in Taormina via Naxos, which was apparently not included in the route, where the guide dropped us in a dirty, dirty room for lunch. Our guide asked us if he should wait for us or if we should walk back to our hotel. We chose the latter. So the trip was 3.5 hours instead of 5 hours. For this price we certainly expected something different.
