This 4x4 route meanders through the hills along the historic coach road that once linked Opotiki and Gisborne, offering a journey rich in history and breathtaking scenery.

- Whitikau Road - Embark on an adventure from pick-up. Hop into one of our 4x4 vehicles in Opotiki and explore the stunning Motu Trails. This 4x4 route meanders through the hills along the historic coach road that once linked Opotiki and Gisborne, offering a journey rich in history and breathtaking scenery.
Your Mission - Race against time to solve puzzles, uncover clues, and tackle challenging activities, all set in the beautiful native New Zealand bush. Imagine yourself as a search and rescue expert or a wildlife conservationist fighting off rogue poachers.
Lunch - After completing your mission, enjoy a classic Kiwi meal as we share stories and laugh about missed clues.
From here, you can either return to Opotiki in one of our 4x4 vehicles or, for the more adventurous, mountain bike or hike down the exhilarating Pakihi Track. You can stay overnight in the DOC hut halfway, and we’ll pick you up from the bottom the next day.

Step back in time, while you travel the amazing Motu Old Coach Road, jaw dropping moments as you realise the road was paved by men with nothing but picks and shovels, rich in history and richer in scenery, the views oh my, the views as our 4x4 climb to 750m above sea level. Making our way to the breathtaking Whitikau Valley where the game park is settled amongst untouched native bush, privately owned the Valley has bush clad hills rolling down to the picturesque Whitikau river running through the centre. It’s here you get your Mission On! Armed with your mission instructions, a radio and a sense of adventure your team head off to complete your mission, you have 2hours to complete your mission, set amongst the bush your game park has clues to unlock, puzzles to solve and activities to complete. Maybe your team’s mission is to rescue a lost little boy or save an endangered species, the clock is ticking, can you complete your mission! Maximum number per team 4, x 2 missions
