Sassi di Matera - Free visit to the historic center of Matera where there are two neighborhoods called “Sassi”, these are valuable rock complexes, inhabited since the dawn of prehistoric civilization, houses dug into the limestone rock. The “Sassi” became a World Heritage Site in 1993.
